  1. I dunno, like $10,... or if you can find something in my pile of shit you want!! I'd like to take your '55, but I wouldn't get sex for months if I bought another corolla home!!!! :P
  2. Cool, how much?
  3. thanks Casey, lemme know cause it's one of the only things holding up car #2. :P I might as well take those inserts rolla13bt. You in the North or South? Are you Ed's mate with the same colour car as me!?
  4. I need a couple of bits: Brake booster vacuum HOSE, with 1 way valve - stock ke55 Rubber seal around the boot for ke55 :P
  5. Well it wouldn't have been Ollie thats for sure!!
  6. Get a PEPU mikey!! I would if I could!
  7. Its just the sound of the gears/belts because they have straight cut teeth. Just like a straight cut gear box. Most gear boxes have hellical (SP?) cut gears, ie on and angle as it makes then quiet.
  8. Somebody here just bought a KR42R 5 speed for $880, so don't expect it to be cheap. And he's now not using it because it won't fit a ke10 tunnel, so bare that in mind too. If you use the KR auto, you will also need the matching 7K flex plate and torgue converter...... :hmm: I won't if you can get a stally for a townace!!
  9. Go compare some K pulleys to your T ones casey! If they are similar, it might just be a case of getting a longer belt!?
  10. and remember that 3k and 4k ones can be different depending on model or age!
  11. Pretty sure that one was driving round tassie as a targa service vehicle!
  12. :) dunno if the auto will be as easy as a manual. Is there actually such a thing as a W series auto anyway!? The ease of the manuel conversion is only due to the "fluke" of the KM20 flywheel/clutch! It has a K flywheel, but with a clutch diametre and spline right for the 29mm/19T input shaft. Do some research into auto KM20's (if they exist) and see if you can find a similar fluke. :y:
  13. http://www.irokin.com/rollaclub.com/board/...showtopic=10940 :y: You'll see it downstairs one day soon. Plus you get the best view of any rollerclubber on whats to come! You get to see it all in the flesh before I even takes some piccies for these guys. :)
  14. Beat me to it Hiro! :) atleast we didn't contradict ourselves! :y:
  15. :) doesn't work like that. She'd end up with the wheels sticking out past the body about 60mm with -25!!! You need to get a FWD offset wheel, so +38 or +40. :y: Don't know about PCD on your car, but a decent wheel shop should be able to tell you that anyway!
  16. I got a set you can have for $50. :y:
  17. Made was with me drifting one time in stock rolla with a weber, as I came out of the corner (only slight load on the engine) it peaked just over 8000rpm! :y: without valve bouncing.
  18. The K-W option is pretty easy and cheap, just a matter of finding all the parts, but thats still heaps easier than finding K-T bits! :y: Nothing has to be modified except the W spline onto a corolla tailshaft, with a holden uni joint. No shortening or lengthening is required. Basically all you need is: KM20 liteace bellhousing, flywheel, clutch, clutch fork, TOB retainer. and the just the W40 or W50 with the output spline to suit. I paid $50 for mine. Only reason I haven't got it in the car yet, and hence updated the thread is because that car is now off the road getting EFI stuff done. When it is running again it will be with the W50.
  19. Richmond Tas?
  20. Bare block is free. Ollies 4k is complete except maifolds and carb, but can supply if you don't have any laying around. I haven't paid him for it yet! So maybe you buy him a carton or something and he'd be happy. :o If you want it asap, you can collect it today (I won't be home though). its sitting under the stairs to my place, just help your self. :D
  21. Currently keeping my rolla's company!! :o
  22. Um....isn't that the one that I have now leigh? Its now a bare block Nick, but come take it. I've also got a 4k, its the one out of Ollies wagon.
  23. Nice work cobba. :o Looks like a proper exhaust mani makes a hell of a difference! So what boost pressure was that run at? tweek it up to 12psi :) :D
  24. ^^btw, by "NOS" he means "New, old stock", ie brand new parts that have been sitting for 20 odd years. :n:
