  1. I have both a set of lifters and a12 pushies available for sale. Don't know about solid lifters on the hydro cam though! ....but I have a cam available too! Lol Btw I assembled a 5k with 4k head, a12's and chevs last night!
  2. I just picked up my new oversize bottom end last week, now assembled. 0.5mm, endurotech d dished slugs and some honda chrome moly rings. Was about $375 all up. Was messaging stu last night, now has 7:1 c/r.

  10. Hey buddy, while you have the head off any chance you could take a few pics of the ports? Looks like yours has heaps taken out of the short turns on the inlets at least! I've been doing some porting lately. Cleaned up the ex ports and polished them last week Stu! Lol

  12. Another old trick for changing springs with the head on is filling the cylinder with rope.
  13. The pajero one I'm talking about had to come around the back of a top mount cooler, so they're pretty long. I had enough to come around the back of the motor, in under the fuel rail and loop around to the tb. It even bolted straight up to the 55 firewall, dare say 70 would be the same!
  14. Cable for the 7ke t/b? Mine came from a v6 pajero from memory.

  17. Um... Remove the rocker cover to adjust the lifters!
  18. Hey mate, Reverse switch is normally on the driver side of the extension housing. Its a 21mm nut/sensor looking thing with 2x bullet terminals sticking out of it. Polarity doesn't matter when wiring it up. Depending what box you have the could be 1 or 2 other 21mm nut/sensors screwed into the top of the box, but they both only have 1x wire/terminal each so identifying the reverse switch (the one with 2x terminals) is easy. Trust me mate, if your zuk orginally had a 1lt in it, then a 4k (and maybe more so the 5sp) is a serious upgrade!! ;)
  19. Yeah my mazda does that sometimes with the IDA Stu.... except it goes the other way - The bridge port brap smooths out a bit snd it sounds less ported. At the end of the day.... other than possibly drawing some more attention from police, is there anything about the mods that makes your car in any way illegal? Regardless of weather your on your P's or not? My point being - If you're pulled over and haven't been driving like an idiot in any way, are you actually going to get a ticket or defect for anything?
