  1. Only ever used the blue point 260c one. http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?P65=&tool=all&item_ID=77405&group_ID=1362&store=snapon-store&dir=catalog There are higher temp reading one's on there though.
  2. Main drama is going to be the cable location cup on the firewall that the rubber bung for the adjuster slips into.
  3. Redline water wetter, used to use in performance applications at a previous workshop, don't use it with anything other then straight distilled water as it is already a corrosion inhibitor, I think you will find that the guy in bold overdosed on inhibitors which is why his seals did not last, you will also see that he just uses dist. water with water wetter now. Hope this help.
  4. Point's ignition? Make sure the gap is set correctly, the wrong gap can lead to ignition break down at high rpm. The FAQ states to use the 4k sump if the sump has clearance issues, the one in the ke70 van I had must of been a 4k sump as it had plenty of clearance. http://www.rollaclub.com/faq/index.php?title=Sump

  8. I have dealt with the induction system before on triumphs at road and track and I do not know why more people don't go for the option, they are a good size and are good with power, here is a drive by vid of one of the race cars: EDIT: The 2nd car
  9. This, I use a laser thermometer on the cooling system (pipes, radiator, thermostat housing) to check for temp differences and range.

  11. You don't know what I mean so ok.
  12. You need to undo the nut on the end of the pinion shaft (tail shaft input) and then undo the 4 bolts holding the carrier bearing in place and it will or should come out.
  13. Praying? I posted that to her before she had posted what her wiring colours were and it seems that they had a few different setups.
  14. So the clip on the back is not connected to the barrel?
  15. Nah hers is completely different, I sent her this last night which I wrote up out of a AE92 wiring diagram.
  16. Polished LS v8, probably be easier to find a LS block then a UZ block aswell.
  17. The old wreckers trips with JiP. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=13692&view=findpost&p=220887
  18. Hi Aimey, I messaged you on the other forum, now that I can see your wiring diagram I would be putting a test light on following to determine earth, ACC power and Batt power: white/black stripe dark green/red stripe blue/yellow stripe If they turn out to be power and earth then get a 9volt or just a remote battery and put them on the other wires in a matching pair (green, green) to identify which speaker is which.
  19. Mostly seen v8 blocks, I think a member on here had a drag slick table for sale a few years back, looked pretty mad.
  20. The mechanism rod has most likely fallen off or the clip on the back of the lock is not connected, pull the trim off and have a look.
  21. oooh, just in time for school holidays :lolcry: Just kidding FH, it is a fairly common mistake.
  22. Shall call you tomorrow.
  23. I thought you were saying in it's current state. Stop light fuse on the 82, EFI fuse on the later.
  24. Hi mr rollaparts, I can come look at/do the door wiring as I am just down the road (Goodna) May be able to get my brother to do the kit, he is a 10+ year qualified panel beater (can still paint) that does after hours work from home, time depends on what he has on.
