Found a part number of BR7501 for the 86 sprinter, presume it is a T series, have a look on 86dc as it might be listed in the part number database.

Been a while since I updated this. Had the bike back on the road about 2 weeks after but took it off the road In Jan this year (rego ran out) as I thought I would do a tidy up on it, managed to pull it down and got a quote for powder coating the subframe and brackets and I repaired the wiring harness but it has been sitting for the last 4 months in the condition, took it outside today to get a pic:

A k with nos will be quicker then any of the other k's without it. Going by your rules you are better off having 3 categories: 1. turbo or supercharger 2. Nos 3. Atmo.

As evan said, most likely T50. IIRC the reverse light switch is on the passenger side of the gearbox, may not of been connected.
