  1. More info would be nice. I am guessing that it is the 82 in your display, be it manual or auto the reverse switch is the round white plug on the gearbox. The fuse that powers this is the gauge fuse.
  2. I don't think so. The crusher section is up the top behind the shed, all these cars are lined up at have signs to say Toyota, Nissan, holden etc.
  3. Have you thought about driving on the correct side of the road :P Post pics of the many parts you have acquired.
  4. Electronics and fuel don't mix, so glad that they never made an intake electronic fuel pump.
  5. Sounds like an airlock, park it so it is flat or the front is slightly higher and run the car with the rad cap off and the interior fan temp set to hot (with fan on 1 to feel the core heating up if you have one), run it until it gets hot which should be 1/2 - 3/4 on the gauge and make sure the rad is always full while doing this. Once the heater is warm (if you have one) have a feel of both radiator hoses (top and bottom) to make sure the water is flowing, if so then stick the cap on, if not then follow the bottom hose up to the thermostat housing and see if the other side is hot.
  6. Good to see it is on the road, you look very happy behind the wheel of it.

    Spotted Qld

Oh hai Des... Driving along the Ippy motorway and I spotted a white KE1* further back in my rear view so I slowed down a little and then noticed a fro, DES, so I jumped in the right hand lane and got a pic.
  8. Dunno yet, not sure what diff it has.
  9. The KE70/AE70/ LCA's are the same as the AE86 LCA's so the castor rod is the same, the KE55 has the same length LCA but not sure on the castor rod.
  10. So our wreckers thread was closed a while back and I didn't wanna post this on the Oxley thread. Today I went to wacol self serve and found a second stash of toyota's (and other models mind you) that I didn't know were in the yard, once you are in the yard head down to the far bottom left corner which is blocked by the truck wreckers fence and you will find a 2nd toyota and nissan section. In the lot they had: AE71 panel van, bonnet and doors still on it, shell rusty. KE30 sedan, IMMACULATE front bumper, nice brown interior, rear seat looked perfect, didn't look at the fronts. A few RA celica's. Plenty of AE9* corolla's. An AE101 seca, missing the front end infront of the windscreen. AE82 sedan. Not sure if many people check them out since they are down the back, I have only ever gone to the toyota section in the middle.
  11. I am going to plan this for the 23rd at 7:30. I see that 17 members have voted but can I get some numbers, copy and add your name to the list: *Trev * * * * * * * * *
  12. Not for me, maybe doing it your 1st time though. Need to remove the cubby hole (front enclosed console), undo the 4 nuts and pull it out. If you need photo's just let me know.
  13. On top of the tunnel, up against the firewall.
  14. Looking at the ECU plugs (smallest on left) it will be in the middle plug on the top row 2nd from the left, you are also better off taking the case off and seeing if it is in that location as stated on the board. EDIT: What Justin said :laff:
  15. And do the same amount of work to a 4a :bash:
  16. I was trying to work out who's initials it would of been :laff:
  17. WTF is CAI?
  18. Good to hear, I am guessing you are running coppers? If so, throw some iridiums in it, the resistance is lower so the spark will be better.
  19. Skip, as I said the other day, they need to be pressed in as they are a floating hub assembly, I also said that I can press them in for you at the workshop, give me a yell when you want it done.
  20. ok, I am meant to be rebuilding my dizzy but I am a bit slack at the moment, when the dizzy has oil in it the car hesitates to start, just thought you might of have had the same thing but at running speeds.
  21. http://www.trdracing.com/accessories/accessories.htm Edit: This is the one you will want: Silver - Screw type - Part# 12180-SP002
  22. Do a bit of googling for 6.8" borg warner diffs, they are fairly common for use in the UK, you might find some info from there.
  23. Clean out any oil that is in the dizzy also, I normally do this with brake clean and then doing a spray of servisol electrical clean and lube.
