  1. Looking good Jase.
  2. Can you turn it on :y:
  3. Have you got the other toyoglide yet?
  4. Ha you have only heard about them now and BTW that price was the price they used to be, They are now down in the 300's in most shops, I will upgrade from the momo soon but the momo is doin a good job at the moment.
  5. I forgot to mention that if you want a quick fix to run constant cold air disconnect the vac hose to the intake actuator and it will stay on cold.
  6. Still don't see your point, All i said was mine took longer to warm up but really all your saying is that the 4/6AFC would be worse as its further fom the carby itself.
  7. Whats your point?
  8. Id say so as it runs thru the guard: EDIT: I Thought he asked if the 6A pipe was shorter not longer, The 4AC intake pipe is longer.
  9. What is wrong with your son?
  10. I removed the one from the wifes seca and it took longer to warm up of a morning so i bought a new pipe.
  11. Just wanted to make it a proper rwd setup and i forgot to mention that i still need to get a rwd harmonic balancer, The turbo coolant lines are going to fed from the heater in and out, The panelvan is still going to be using the fwd setup, I did have a pic of how it was setup but i dunno where i put it.
  12. Yeah, The only thing second hand part i will be using is the top outlet to thermostat housing x-over pipe from the 4A-C, All that is left is the hoses.
  13. Long time since i had an update but parts take a while to get at times when they are brand new non australian items, I had word back from R&T that my water outlets (top and bottom) will be here around the 7th of Jan, Its been a long wait but now all i gotta get is the front to back cooling pipe which i have available but just gotta pay for it, The total all up including the cooling system components, rwd pulley's and the pipe not already paid for comes to $800.
  14. American sports commentators especially the drag racing ones, They just get too over excited and their favourite line is OMG did you... and they over exaggerate everything.
  15. I was referring to all the heat marks on the crank itself and the fact that it has what looks to be sludge build up in the block, When i worked for volvo mack restoration plant my job was to strip used engines down to the bare block and pull everything else fully apart and inspect the crank and so on, That 4age one to me looks as tho it didnt have adequate lubrication but thats just me.
  16. So no one went?
  17. ABC autospares hats and fat chicks that wear bike pants.
  18. What Si said, I once used a 2.3L diesel's turbo on a 1.5L exa, The spool and acceleration was alot better than what it had with the petrol turbo but the power started to drop off at 140kmh cause the turbo ran out of puff, It still revved to 7500 and made boost till then in 1st & 2nd tho.
  19. It doesnt look like its been oiled to well.
  20. My 40.2cc (aircooled) pocket rocket had the exhaust chambers expanded and the air/fuel flow chamber from the crank to the head bored and ported, The carby was also drilled out to allow more flow and it hammered, One of my mates had a race prepped 49cc (aircooled) it had alot more torque than mine but i held it at top end, You should have a lot of fun on that :lolcry: Here is a pic of what mine turned out to be, I even did the flame job myself:
  21. When i got one of my commodore heads reco'd (12 port 6) it only cost me 200 bucks for a surface, brand new guides and valves and had all the ports cleaned up and that was with 8 valves so I don't know why you would even bother doing it to do it right the first time, Do it to a stuffed head or something.
  22. I have driven FEL's (front end loaders) that would probably fit inside that bucket, That things fukin huge.
  23. Trev

    Des' Twincam.

It sucks even more when you stuff up the thread in the head. He already told me he don't wanna.
  24. There is an advantage of using a metal oil cap (so the reason i do it) is that when the car heated up the oil cap always got stuck, Now with the trd cap its fine and no i didnt buy the cap.
  25. Why wouldnt they, Homer bought a canyonero and realised it was the girls class (f series) so he made marge drive it and it leads to the zoo rescue.
