  1. I know all that but i was also told that if you have a updated KE70 with slanted headlights it was called a KE70R. I'm just asking what "KE70" means as it doesnt state LHD or RHD.
  2. It does make sense as they have KE70L and KE70R listed but what is a KE70 supposed to mean?
  3. Now i have heard 2 different stories: 1. R = Update 2. R= RHD What about all the KE70's in aus that arent an R, Have they been converted?
  4. I decided to do a bit of a search on the KE70R as they look hawt and i found some info on the R that might be of use to some people, I had a look through a corolla production listing (FOUND HERE) and i couldnt make out if it said KE70R-EEKRS or EEKR8 but I'm pretty sure it would be a EEKRS as the other one isnt listed, Going by the site the car was available world wide so either AUS didnt get alot of them or they are just a rare car, Here's the listing's: GENERAL (world wide): And EUROPE:
  5. Hey guys, I remembered a short discussion about an AE82 Conquest in this thread: http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?s...=10912&st=0 I have just found a guy in the gold coast that has 1 that originated from South Africa so i thought id post it up, Cheers http://www.twincam.info/index.php?showtopic=24309&hl=
  6. Yeah i just found that you can get them from here: http://www.naauto.biz:8080/naauto/catalogu...128/category131 For $190 each so i will be having a word with the guys at work.
  7. Not to sure where you can get them locally in NSW but we use alot of L.E.D (light emmiting diode) lamps at work, 1 of the lamps we use is the Hella 2379: They retail at $250 our price (45% discount from the electrical distributors we use: AEI (auto electrical imports), Ingrams etc), if you want i can have a look at the book at work and find out "our" retail price on the lamps you have listed and get a set sent down to you, Thats if your interested in that light. P.S. Postage will be on me. EDIT: I forgot to mention that it is $250 EACH not the pair.
  8. What is the go with the post count, I really don't see how having a high post score makes you any better than anyone, I myself have posted a few ebay links and i have posted them as: Ebay: 1975 Corolla Panelvan - Damn I Wish I Had The $$ I Want Another 1 http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?s...225&hl=ebay Ebay: Ae82 Tacho Dash - Suit 4A-C (as it redlines at 6) http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?s...097&hl=ebay Why do people think its so hard to make a post like that, From now on if i do another ebay link i will post it in the Off-Topic section.
  9. I had a pic of the ZZE TRD intake but i can't find it so i will try to track 1 down, Here's a link direct to TRD's ZZE123 Page: TRD - ZZE123 It also features the TRD CAI Kit: As far as tuning goes, i don't know what shops are in Perth so i can't help you there. You can try as the the toyota dealers we have here in brisbane are TRD sub branches (eg, Ross Llewellyn Motors) so just try a few of your local toyota branches, Toyota Dealer Locator
  10. The TRD CAI kit is completly hidden behind the passenger side of the front bar. The TRD S/C Kit is generally comes with everything you need and is a direct bolt on, I don't see a problem with running the stock internals if there was TRD would supply the full kit.
  11. The standard output of the ZZE sportivo's is 141kw (More power than any standard 1.8 honda VTEC), A guy at work had a 2005 ZZE sportivo and the only upgrade he did was a TRD cold air induction kit (mounted in front bar), To be honest with you unless you want alot of power i wouldnt worry about forced induction on 1, Instead id look at getting the TRD CAI kit and an exhaust and have a look at the handling/suspension on it as they sit fairly high and I'm not too sure if they get alot of body roll or not, Just my 2c I also have a video of his doin a burnout i can post if your interested (with camera phone) and it sounds pretty tuff from a stock car apart from an air filter upgrade.
  12. yeah i did come across a bit rude.
  13. Yep.
  14. Just some quick info (Was'nt directed at Raven but this topic in general), The clutch don't bolt to anything, The Pressure plate does which pushes the clutch plate into the flywheel, you have to take the gearbox off and then unbolt the pressure plate to remove the clutch. EDITED due to the post coming across a bit rude.
  15. Yes indeed, AE86 Corolla Levin (Sprinter) but then you have the AE86 Sprinter Treuno which people don't like to refer to as a corolla but it still is.

Check the engine number just to make sure it is still a 4A tho.
  17. A mist of water is alot different to a flow of water, They even have water injection systems for cars so it can't be all that bad:

    4a-e

Yes but i didnt say that the 4A-C didnt come with them, I said every 4A-C i know has EI, It not how you tell a 4A-E is all I'm saying.

Here's a pic of the missus AE82 engine bay, 4A-C (electronic Ignition)

    4a-e

After looking at those pics i have noticed something very odd, The E In any toyota engine stands for fuel injection which this engine is not (this was even the case in the 2T-GEU). Every 4A-C i know has come with an Electronic Ignition and the 4A-E made 8HP more than the 4A-C. IMO someone has just stuck that cam cover on that engine or they have converted a once injected engine into carby when the conversion was done, thats if it is actually a 4A and still not the 3A. Just for a future reference:

can't be 100% sure as i have never looked but been a 4A bottom end and the fact that a T-50 will fit 4A/GE/ZE engine i don't see why it would have a different mounting point.

    4a-e

    Have you got a 4A-E?
  23. Sorry bout that dude, Thanks
  24. Cameron pointed this out to me today: 4K Lawn Mower - EBAY Have a look, It gives a whole new meaning to UPRIGHTING a K engine :ninja:

    4a-e

All i know is that it was used from 81-88, I have never seen 1 in a ADM AE82 but it has been used in AE82's through out the world, Not sure what else tho.
