What a waste of time, why would you induce clutch slip in a 4k to get better performance. -
Change the plugs and at most the leads, sounds like a resistance issue for sure.

Check the cooling system for a start and also check the intake hoses for splits, the adub I had was a pig to drive at 1st and I found a split in the intake. -
22 is water temp sensor which will play with the start up.

Spotted a white corolla II GP Turbo along the warrego at Tivoli yesterday, was on the side of the road with the cops behind it with what looked like smoke coming from under the bonnet, about 2 hours later I seen it (fairly sure it was) getting dropped a few doors down from my dads.

Glad I did the seat as the sedan seat clips can be an utter PITA, this way it just flips up, I took the cover off of the rear bottom seat and put it onto my spare seca base and had my mate fit some nut serts into where the holes are so I could bolt it all in. For the 2 door?

Since the board in it is most likely fubared you should try to wire direct to the light, I have some jewellery shop downlights here that I run off a 12v battery and they are bright as hell.

Sorry Jono, I just clicked on the jaycar link you put up, I didn't realise that it also did capped the amperage, I thought it was just a voltage resistor.
