  1. Funniest home videos. WTF is so bloody funny about them ? At least Hey hey its saturday comes on after
  2. ^^what he said. But you'll also have to drop the cross-member (with 'box attached) down about 1 inch or so. The blue RHS rectangle tube from a metal merchant is ideal. And grab a pair of M10x40mmx1.25 bolts so that you can attach the cross-member to the body. You will need the ke70 gearbox mount (not the cross-member) itself cause its different to what the ke3x/5x used
  3. Some how i do think you'll save more, much more, then just $600 :insane:
  4. Urm yep Just make sure you use one of these Or this Cause from the pictures i've been looking at even trucks with big wheels and multi-drive axles have been lost to the bog.
  5. About the same. We've had a set top all plugged in and what not for over a year now, used it a few times when we got it. I think the biggest run its had was when Amber's dad was staying with us till he found his own place, about 2 weeks worth. Since then its back to sitting next to the stereo turned off (not even on stand by). My bitch for the day is Aust Post. Pissing down rain, i walked into the garage and noticed a shadow walk past the garage window back towards the road. Hmm, i thought, bit odd, cause i never heard the door bell or banging on the door etc so i went around to the front door and sitting on the ground in the rain was two packages, one was wrapped up in paper and the other one was in one of those postpack bags. The dip shut at least gets one star for putting the postpack bag over the top of the paper one.
  6. Sounded more like an angry Ridgeback when the camera was up close
  7. Question - front or back on the N13 ?
  8. Those people are just suicidal. There is just no way possible i'd even walk along "The Ledge" let alone drive it :blinks: Edit - even if i had Lisa sitting on my lap :lovin:
  9. Anybody come across "IRT Deadliest Roads" on the tube ? If not, its a real eye opener with driving a wooden truck in India up the Himalayas along a goat track of a road. From the series "Ice Road Truckers" If you do a search make sure you find the user "Jepp300". Think he's about the best one who's copying the series.
  10. Yes  you do
  11. My quick answer to that would be "no". I wouldn't really feel all that comfortable with something like that so close. Could always move that clamp around a little to open the space up but i can just see it when you go to get an alignment some fool at the tire shop is going to move it back. But at the same time with moving the clamp around you may not get the same clamping force.
  12. 69 :P I like the white on black period plates. Its one of the things i'd have loved to have kept for my turtle.
  13. What i was meant to say with that is that the bolt spacing (triangle) between the t-18 and ke3x/5x is the same, its only the bolts that are different. The t-18 uses an M8 bolt and the ke3x/5x uses an M10. The t-18 bearing plate fits where the ke3x/5x fits. Tally, the tie rod tube on my ke30 is 150mm end to end. I'd expect the '55 to be the same.
  14. I'm with Red on this - don't waste your money. You'll get good results with throwing a lot less money at the leaves then what you'll get with having to redesigning the arse end for a coil set up. The cheapest way, i think, of doing it would be to buy a scrapped ae86 (or t-18) and then cut out everything from the body that incorporates the suspension (trailing arm pick up points etc) and then do a cut-and-shut into the wagon. Why ae86 ? Its the closest coil sprung series to the wagon, the back seats can be lowered for the wagon like space. Thats my theory anyway. And don't forget you'll have to talk to an engineer first to get the ok. And then see the same engineer half way though to find out if your still doing it correctly and then after to get it mod plated. I wouldn't expect much change from a grand on getting it engineered. And even then i can see the guy holding his hand out for more... Best bet, talk to a suspension place.
  15. :hmm: not that i can think of But i do remember a time when the water line was a meter or two off the spill way
  16. Don't realize it till Amber brought it up. But entry is $2.50 per vehicle (the machine won't except 5cent pieces) camping is $7.90 per person (under 5's are free) per night. Unless we can get a minimum of 20 of us and it'll drop to $7.10 I wouldn't really expect much with flooding out there
  17. Sweet :D hopefully another toowoombian
  18. Green Zone - i'm pretty sure its an ae101 sedan that "Freddy" drives
  19. "That 70's show" yes? Its the star car in the series.
  20. Coffee maker ? I'll have a white and one please :P
  21. Just to help a bit more
  22. Should be able to get the holes bored out - on-centre, off-centre.
  23. Could but i'd think it'd defeat the idea of running the 4k crank but. Unless your talking about the counterweights. But i'd sooner just do the pistons. Should be able to find some 75mm bike pistons
  24. I'm pretty sure Cameron has done the conversion with parts from a Land Cruiser F-series
