  1. Sounds like a bundle of fun Adam, I guess it's all about those small improvements here and there. Get some newer tyres you fool! :y:
  2. Fitted the swaybar last week. Definitely improved turn in and high speed understeer. Here are some pics Also i'm am after people's opinions and advice on some wheels. They are a ROTA wheel and i'm looking at a 15x7 with a +4 offset. I would definitely have some nice sidewall overhang though! Has anyone ever fitted wheels off a 240z to their rolla? Let me know what you guys think. Go to www.otomoto.com.au to have a look for yourself. Matt.
  3. Welcome Evan Looks like you have a pretty clean '55 on your hands. Good luck with the manual conversion. Matt.
  4. Looks like a rip off of a dr30 or r31 two door! Sick never-the-less

  9. Again this just keeps getting better and better! Only down side is that time isn't flying by quick enough :sob:
  10. What ideas and times do you have in mind Chika? It might be hard making up the numbers here in such a short time span.
  11. Ahh should be seeing it around more often then. Hope he looks after it, it looked pretty shiny.
  12. Spotted Adam's (silverra23) 'mission brown' Celica just off Dynon Rd north melbourne at about 4:45pm today. Didn't look like Adam driving and it had 3 people inside. Maybe it has changed hands?
  13. I'd grab that asap. I was looking for over a year for one of them but gave up and fitted a small vdo tacho instead. Great find buddy, make sure to put up some pics when its done.
  14. ... and kermit/ke10girl has returned to the forums after some time of absence!
  15. A single weber 40 or dellorto dhla40 carb should be fine, but it needs to be jetted and tuned to suit. My advice is take it to someone who is a weber/dellorto expert to solve your poblems. Good luck.
  16. It's just a factory cam. I will only fit a lumpier cam when i go the whole hog in a rebuild. It' revs fine, especially with the twins fitted but it doesn't like anything over 5,100rpm.
  17. Nice job Doogs, again it's so good that you keep making progress. It will make for a much better finished product.
  18. Probably the best way of going about it. Let me know how you go.
  19. Well as we were originaly trialing 3k/4k/5k sumps on the 7k we had to modify the pickup in order to trial fit these sumps. Later on when we discovered that none of these fitted and modified the original it looked like it didn't need modification at all. So the stock one is still fitted but unecessarily modded slightly. Another great person to ask would be Taz_rx.
  20. Nice vid Dave. I think i'll have to hit you up with some questions about converting to a hydraulic clutch later on. Great to see it's all running mate, good job.
  21. Ahh so good to see an update mate. I didn't realise you had so much rust in the guards. So good to see you're doing it properly and actually doing it yourself. Top effort! Keep pushing along as it's going to come up awesome.
  22. Mmm interesting, good thinking Josh but you better make sure your weld are spot on! It would be just easier to get 14" kr42 townace steelies.
  23. Technically it should be! 8/
  24. Mazda Roadpacer sounds like the perfect car for this!
  25. Get a small vdo one like mine, it fits where the useless clock is (with some modification). Or you could just "shift by feel"!
