Spotted a clean yellow ke30 sedan today in the Brunswick/Moonee Ponds area. Custom black slimline rego which i think was "ALLTIM" but don't quote me on that.

Do not fit tyres with spacers, i cannot stress that enough. It is also illegal. If they don't fit you're best off selling them and finding ones with the correct offset. Good luck mate.

Go with whatever colour you like best mate! But keeping to canary yellow might be easier and cheaper as you might get away with leaving the engine bay and door jams etc. Great to see progress being made keep it up! Matt.

This thing is a beast! I've looking for one for about 2 years now with no luck. Great to see you and dad are getting stuck into it. If your dad isn't too bad with a welder (which it seems he is) maybe research fitting a 7k. Absolutely love the ideas for the paint, it will look so cool! I met Bob Holden at the Phillip Island classic not long ago. He said he still attends many historic events with his little corolla hatch. Or you could get some kr42 14 inch townace steelies. They are the right offset and stud pattern and you can fit some decent rubber on them too!

My personal opinion is that twin carbies on a stock 4k is complete overkill. One single downdraught weber/dellorto jetted and tuned to suit will do fine. My 2c.

Ouch man, that burnt! It's a matter of time before the upgrade is done. Having said that if you don't do 'abusive' driving the driveline will hold up fine.

Yes, i used standard 3k mounts but the sump needed to be seriously modified to clear the crossmember. Where are people sourcing their info from? Rubbish a little tap will help the sump clear, i'm presuming it could be even less clearance in an older rolla. Do not consider this conversion if you are strapped for cash and/or not very mechanically minded/experienced/talented.
