We'll put buddy. When i did my conversion i looked at using the 7k townace mounts but they were different and then realised the 3k mounts were perfect. Hope this clears things up for you. Cheers. Matt.
  2. oooooooo nice twin headlight conversion! I love that keyring can you buy them off the net?
  3. Pos pas file (spelling). Welcome, can you speak English?

No you don't, i used standard 3k mounts. Have you done this conversion yourself as you seem to be quite the expert?
  6. This thing is awesome, top work and effort buddy. You should clean up that spare grille you bought and chuck it on. I had a grille like yours then put one like you have bought. It looks heaps tougher. Cheers Matt.

You can use your existing mounts no probs there. I have said this numerous times you CANNOT use any other sump other than a 7k one. What details do you need to modify the sump? Trial fit the motor and see where it wont clear (midway drivers sideish) mark this area out, Then cut this out and get someone who can weld to weld in a modified (pretty much inverted) section. If the motor you a buying doesn't have an inlet manifold then there is no carby and a 3k carby will be inadequate for a 7k. So you will either have to go aftermarket manifold (eg redline) to adapt a weber or the sort or track an original 7k-c manifold and carby down. Hope this helps. Matt.
  8. Yes, i know this will sound funny but my rolla will need a car port at least :) Cheers Matt.
  9. I heard the advertisement on the radio for this today
  10. Ok fair enough. How long would they require the car there for? A day or longer?
  11. Ok thanks mate and keep up the good work. How's the clutch working out?
  12. Hey si, great work mate. I was wondering how much the (trd?) oil cap set you back? Cheers Matt.
  13. Amen to that. Respect a man's car and he shall respect you!
  14. Excellent stuff si. I did exactly the same to my drivers side one only I sprayed the washer :hmm: I think this has come up before, maybe about two years ago on here meh. good on ya anyways.
  15. Do these cars have to be standard, restored or what? Cheers Matt.
  16. Well done matt. It's so great to see progress happening with your multiple beasts. Have you got your license back yet?? All the best
  17. All the Kreissieg race exhaust vids are fantastic. They are hell expensive and are made in a factory in Japan and are unique to every vehicle. http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=cFoE_ni4xE0&...feature=related Enjoy :hmm:
  18. looks awesome, clear coat it and leave it like that!!

Great on fuel (about the same as i got with the 3K). Well it was before the twin carbs haha!
  21. Great to see you finally started up a thread for your beast Lesley. This thing just keeps getting better and better. Onwards and forwards Matt.
  22. Making excellent progress mate, you definitely have to go with the platinum would look shmick!
  23. If your running standard calipers/drums there's no point in upgrading the master cylinder as you don't need to push any extra fluid around (as tazrx has said). Best off saving your money and putting it towards a more comprehensive upgrade like maybe a 5K motor. All the best.
  24. Mate there has been a fair bit of progress since i last posted here. Great to see you have kept up the good work and decided on a colour! Best of luck
