No, 5k sump will not fit as the 7k block is marginally wider. It really isn't that hard to modify the sump if you have someone who can weld. Pod filter and expandable intake piping can be bought from any place like Autobarn or supercheap or repco. As for the stainless pipe we had that lying around the garage so cut it to size and polished it. To connect it all together we simply used hose clamps. If you were in Melbourne i could sell you the complete set up. here's a shitty pick of how it's sitting now.

To me simex are budget tires, but it's not as if they are going on a ferrari or lambo so they will hold up fine over anything that is on the uglier side of 3yrs old. And yes driving style makes a huge difference.

Love the feel when you are driving it. It's just got a nice driving position great steering especially considering it has no power steering. It's never broken down (touch wood) and now it has power to boot as well. Plus old rolla's have the best bloody heaters going around!
