Doing a burnout on a trailer is a good idea as technically you couldn't get done by the fuzz for doing a burnout or "hoon" driving on a public road! Thanks for putting up the link though, i thoroughly enjoyed it.

The reason for these "down-points" of late is simple. Qantas are doing maintenance on all their planes overseas in places like Taiwan and Malaysia where the service is much cheaper but nowhere near as thorough. They must simply lift their game to pull through this.

Ballarat is not too far at all, i personally prefer it over Bendigo but there isn't too many good driving roads on the way there. still it's something to think about.............

Saw a ke35 coupe (XX model which is top of the range!!) in the Moonee Ponds Coles car park. Was very straight and very clean, white paint with goldish/yellow side stripes. On my way out of the shops the old lady was getting into it and i saw it was manual. So i made sure i gave her dad's business card and told her to get into contact if she ever considered selling it. She was surprised that somebody liked her car and asked me why! Made me very happy Matt.

Hey Jip great idea, i'm 100% in for a calendar. i think that the two spare pages should have one with various unfinished projects and another with various finished projects that people who are buying the calendars can vote for/ nominate. I think you have to reverse the definitions for CS and Se around. Mine is a 1978 SE and came factory with a 4 speed manual and vinyl seats (i though CS stood for Cloth Seats) Anyway, hope this helps and good luck with choosing a LEGAL conversion. Matt.

If it's only a temporary fix like mine were and your not cutting too much then i say go for it. Decent shocks help as well.

Since it is your first time/project car i'd suggest a nicely rebuilt 5k. Would pull nicely and have enough power to have some fun. Plus it is a straightforward fit. Good luck with picking it up and your future plans. Matt.
