Webers, BKS and myself got a fair bit done in the rain yesterday. The motor and box completely out of the seca and red rocket is about 98% ready to drop. All was going smoothly today until he started looking at the wiring on the red car. Now I know jack all about wiring and to me it looks like its been done by a 10yr old!!

Ok so it runs. Have you checked for injector pulse at the ecu pin-our and at plugs?

So the little earth straps are bolted to the base of the inlet mani?? Are the spark plugs dry? Try spraying some "start ya bastard" in the TB to see if you can get it to fire.

Also making peanut worth $40K!!! I think most of the problem lies with Shannon's insurance. They give people an agreed value really high and the owner seems to think that's what it's worth.

WGMG. Tards that need to play the hero and swerve at a cyclist(doing the right thing) that may have held him up for no more than 5 seconds!! Then him and his 2 hipster mates have a go at me for telling them to pull their heads in at the next traffic lights!! Idiot changed his tune when I told him my GPS also doubles as a dash cam and have recorded all his antics!!

Yep pinch a bolt off the seca. Measure how much longer you need, take it to bunnings and get a pack of those gold high tensile bolts the right length.

How far are prepared to travel?? Max at "Queensland starters and alternators" in Nerang is good. I've got an alternator in my car by them and it hasn't let me down for over 4 years.

Yeah got stuck into the 11 and didn't realise the time. Apparently the dyno is pretty harsh with the numbers it punches. Leigh also said no other car had as big a crowd as yours(even that crazy Honda)

I know of a very worry free 7M-GTE!! 100,000kms on low boost(15psi). The secret is to NOT use Toyota or cheap wing Wong head gasket or bolts. No different to those tractor sounding nessan CA's. Arp studs and MLS gasket all you need for trouble free boosting!!

Was the head gasket screwed when you were at the 4B fab dyno day??? I'm a bit upset that I missed your car(i was there earlier in the day). Leigh probably talked your ear off I spose?? I was busy getting my car running a again but with most likely way less than half the powers it had when blown.

This is what I'd do. Then read the part of altezzaclub's ke70 thread where he explains how to check the advance curve. I'd buy a new Bosch gt40 coil that does not run the ballast resistor. They aren't expensive and what are designed to run on an electronic dizzy. I've made 100rwkw out of my supercharged 5k with a Bosch electronic dizzy and a gt40 coil. Never had an issue.

I get more thumbs up, stares, waves and comments from the corolla than I have with the Datto!! As you know Gav the Datto is fairly bright!!! Love the superlight's, forgot you had those!!
