Got my old girl from mammi`s wed a massive difference in drivability and yes it only made 50rwkw or 65rwhp, so for a stock 5k-j with twin su`s a baby cam and ex system in a 700kg ke11 it goes pretty good not great just good. After G.O.R run the 5600rpm cam gets binned a monster clive cam solid and then my 4k head should be finnished and am chasing power to 7800rpm not chasing power numbers just after a bigger rpm band than 3500 - 5600. Mammi`s think they can get it to run from 3500 - 7500 with the right cam.

I have some camping gear gas 2 burner stove and tent and anything else i can find in that sort of thing ill bring aswell. Jarad hopefully the old girl will be efi by that weekend so if not quick at least reliable. and yes ill have a sticker.

well that sux for me as it just cost me $600 all up to get mine engineered with a 5k. But you get that. Any pwer figures and are you still using the NOS aswell because it would not only cool the inlet charge. but give it a crazy amount of power two. forged piston are prob your next purchase if not already.

I love those things when you nail it both motors work awesome "not" isnt owning cars and working on cars about making them go better how the f&*%k do i extract more power out of it when i get used to it? 4agze`s suck well i don't see that the same way. An engine that with forgies a 20v head and a big turbo an theyll make 500hp "how does that suck". A golf that makes a whole 125kw it hardly opens the eyes though 1.4l or not. i do on the other hand see that this for what it is could with a bit of rnd be made to fly but renault in the early 80`s were seeing that and a fair bit more in the factory spec r5 turbo group b rally cars and they were 1.4ltr. Not ragging this engine though too much it makes truck loads of torque.

welding on ends it really sounds like too much stuffing around id get like an EN36A tool steel two rose joints and the left and right handed thread taps tap each end, on a mill cut 2 or 4 flats for spanner adjustment 2 lock nuts for the rose joints and it really is that easy i have made a set for a rear common whore(commodore) controll arms and not a weld anywhere. look hot and work really well.

ah su`s i run a set of 1 1/2" hs series on my mild 5k well static comp is 10.3 : 1 but the camshaft is not that big. but yeah the needles do dictate mixtures from idle through to peak rpm but i run no. 6 needles and .090" main jets. but that will prob different to 1 3/4" carbs. i am thinking of changing to efi as i have complete setup except throttle cable but not sure if i want to sell them as they make the best induction noise.

You still have to get your drivable and then engineered and registered. Whereas i have two sorted i am regd and engineered.LOL but not yet that drivable but shane might be able to fix that. paul i bet youll end up in the pulsar and leigh has already smoketh so don't be too cocky paul. don't forget plenty of time for me to drop in the injection and that blower kit but don't forget cam and that 3.5 ltr ke20. only got on the computer today as I'm house sitting with no internet ill try tomoz if no go ill try local wreckers then repco. going for epa test in the morn but i still think they`ll fail just because its my luck. Cam enkleman and associates pty ltd. are awesome the two guys that looked after me were really down to earth which makes a big difference in my opinion. They tested the car with a sniffer passed that just not noise so its prob a good idea to go with a noise test as they tested my car at 5000rpm not 4000rpm as the epa tester said they aren`t epa guys so why get them to test it if they are not epa certified. other than that it would have breezed through its worth a chat although they are in braeside which is a trip 4 you but its worth it!!!!!

Yes as i have just recentlly found out i do need an engineers for my ke11 with a 5k. but i think it is just the Bad luck i coped a person that new what they were on about. i know of at least 6 or 7 corollas with 5k power no engineers, just my luck i guess and a cert is only $450 cheap peace of mind i think. Let you know how i go.

It is confirmed as the 12th now start at bunnings cranbourne at about 11 leave 12 down to flinders portsea rye aurthurs seat and either finnish at dromana drive-in or frankston if I'm sorted with the corolla cam probably cruise down to winton for the six hour go team toyota.
