  1. So much of it has too be personal preference, for me most standard wheels are often to thin, but that is just my choice, but if you want to have a replacement wheel then make sure it is in keeping with the rest of the style of the car, to me that is the most important. On the choice of the wheel and boss kit make sure that they are Australian standards approved, that you choose the right boss kit that fits. A poor fitting one is very very dangerous.
  2. I think I smell the flogging of a dead horse here.....
  3. **SHAKES FIST* AT CLACKSON for that comment.
  4. agreed. i like the more country style back roads twisty and turns :) with a stop or 2 at a place with some form of coffee/ lunch so that as a group we can chat about how great corollas are. Maybe with a finish point like the OBH to bring it back to the city.

  12. I love my corolla , I dive it too work work once a fortnight even tho I have a work car (dunnydoor, which make me want to hang myself after i have driven the hour to work), I love that I work in Claremont which is full of land rovers, porches, mercedes, bmw, you get the picture, but when I park my little KE15 with its big spotlights and no interior except for a roll cage,. Thats the car people are stopping to look at, and take photos of. *sniff* soo much pride. When asked will you sell it? My reply is always never. It's part of our family, our heritage.

  19. I love my 2tgs with twin solexs on, however if you are looking for a daily driver go with the 4AGE, with the 2TG you will have to be constantly retuning the carbs, they rev hard and go hard but they will go bang in a big way. As previously mentioned parts are getting hard to find. someone correct me if I am wrong on this but the the 4AGE is the lighter engine.

  24. I have been involved with rallying for a very long time. The cage can be the difference between life and Death. You may not intend to go all that hard or hit anything but when that count hits go all the plans end there. Our cars have had accidents where the cage is what saved navigator and Driver. Go to your local rally car club and see who is building their cages locally. Unless your welding is perfect don't do it, plus if is not it will not pass cams inspection.
  25. nice looking rolla and welcome to the club.
