  1. It was actually tailgate down vs tailgate up. FWIW, if I reset the gizmos before a show on the ute, I get about 40 to 43l/100kms. No wonder the boss whinges about the fuel bill!
  2. My understanding of the Turtle running gear is that it is quite weak, and would probably mot stand up to decent Hp in any way shape or form.
  3. Ring your local roads authority. If it still has to go over the pits, leave it standard until then. Transport departments don't like welded mods or anything that doesn't look like it belongs there. However, if you're looking at it for a daily driver as well, you don't really want much more than 1.5 to 2 deg IMHO, otherwise it will a: chew tyres, b: be annoying to drive. I know people are going to say "but I run 6 deg and I don't have issues", well good luck to them. I beg to differ.
  4. It's a 3K. It'll make bugger all difference. I should know, I've built a few. Put a straight through muffler on it, that way it might end up somewhere near legal.
  5. Oddly appealing, and road registered!
  6. Ring VicRoads.
  7. $120 is still a good price.
  8. Nope. Not really.
  9. As stated, no such animal. Ke70 also have a link back end, and therefore you would have to put spring shackles onto the new diff housing. Alot of work for no real gain. The shifter hole maybe further back, however the overall length of the gearbox is the same. Same tail shaft can be used netween the two different boxes.
  10. That's fine, however, Kelfords should have another gind that will suit better.
  11. You woul be wanting a nice little cam with about .400 lift at the valve. Most good cam makers should have a good road cam they can grind you.
  12. *shrug* Dunno. Got married?
  13. That's a melbourne number. :lolcry:
  14. Thank you, and welcome to Rollaclub. There are a couple of 7K's being fitted at the moment. The guys will be able to fil you in on them once they read this post. As far as 5K's go, they're basically a bolt in conversion. Supposedly 7K's are similar, but I can't definitively say. Cheers R
  15. Can't wait for the english language version. Locked until I can find suitable translator. Please refer posting rules: don't write in leet speak or SMS style. We don't charge by the letter and theres a great big monitor to read full words. This can be very annoying to try and decypher and you will recieve warnings where admins/mods see fit. lnk cr b82rez 2g4 "Me was tryin' to save time." Please read your post before you hit the button. Check your spelling, you will be visited by the spelling fairy (pictured below) if you repeatedly ignore requests to fix your spelling. Occasional slip ups are fine, we're not perfect, but at least try and make it look like you passed english. Please try to use punctuation. Even if you don't know exactly how to do it perfectly, try to break up your posts. Its very hard to read one long sentence that spans several lines. Repeat offenders may be warned. Thank you. Rollaclub mods.
  16. Stick to finding a 2TG. Much easier to fit. They're around, be patient. :lolcry:
  17. Don't shit in your own back yard.
  18. Not a bad price, but not a fan of his build quality.
  19. *click*
  20. Considering I know of only ONE being sold in the last 15 years, probably. I have however seen about half a dozen ke10 four doors. Still VERY rare.
  21. I knew a track one with an RB30 in it. Tell me that didn't have some hoof. Sucked in shrubs and small children as it went past....
  22. Went from 4-1 TRD copy extractors on the 2tg, with the collector about 12 inches from the head, to 4-2-1's with an overall length of 36 or so inches. Went from being a seriously top end engine, to having more mid range torque than a mothers club meeting. 4-2-1 for drivablility.
  23. According to my highly unreliable navigator, the 37 topped out at 197 in 5th at the last rally. I didn't think it'd do more than 180. This was a digital reading via the trip meter. Done with 2tg, webers, etc...
  24. Splosh!! ....... GLUB Glub glub glub......... Best thing for them. (Ah-har me hearties!)
