  1. Another random three from the personal files.....
  2. Yes, but which model Corolla are you fitting it to? Some have more space limitations than others.
  3. What model Corolla?
  4. You've hit the nail on the head. Be Sensible. There's a time and place. ....and if you're not, and you do it in MY area, I'll lag you in personally.
  5. But old people are actually safer drivers than young people. I'm sorry. That's just the facts. I've seen the stats. No, really, they are.
  6. An Aussie 55 IS a KE30. Mounts are identical.
  7. Ten minutes Googling, I found out lots. :)
  8. Launie is a small place. Australia is a big place. Lots happens everywhere. Mostly nobody really cares. I know I don't. :)
  9. Oooh, I like that bottom piccie.
  10. Twins. More expensive, but SOOOOOO much better.
  11. I think somebody has been told a porky. I had one for three days at Willowbank two weeks ago. :)
  12. You never know your luck in the big city. :)
  13. The MPS 3 is in a league of it's own. Don't get me started again. :) I've driven the MPS6 as well. More of a Liberty GT type of car than a WRX type of car. Good to drive, clutch takes getting used to, excellent on road, capable on track, although a hint understeer-y for my liking. Nice package.
  14. All good things take time, Grasshopper. Wait for the manifold, trust us. :) However, don't be discouraged, keep coming with other ideas, you never know. R
  15. I'd still have one over a Camry. Even just a plain 6, not an MPS. (Gee, did I just say that??)
  16. Sorry to say all your flows will be wrong. All that this will achieve is a large pooling of fuel in your original intake manifold. Ideally, air and fuel should go in as straight a line as possible. Making it go around sharp corners is not what you're aftre. Hence side draft being the optimum. On my SU's, you could lift the slider, and just see a valve. Go and get a water squirty bottle (old windex bottle etc), put water in it, add some blue food dye, and try some experiments. First off, cut the ends out of a coke bottle, squirt some liquid into it, see how much comes out the end, and how much remains on the bottle. Now get some sort of pipe, and stick a few bends into it, and repeat. Think of all the sharp bends that you want to inflict upon your poor air/fuel mixture. Hope this helps. :) R
  17. ..... but you'd still have the Mazda.......
  18. As much as I hate to admit it, alot of other car manufacturers have it well and truly over Toyota in both interior and exterior design. Havig driven some of it's direct competition, it still has a way to go. Go Drive a Mazda 6 and then tell me which car you would rather own. Toyota have a habit of taking bland to a new level.
  19. What exactly are you attepting to do? Your little piccie doesn't come up.
  20. The legendary "Mozza"s World Rally Gemini. Nice car that. The Death of VH-RME
  21. I drove the new MPS 3 Mazda the other day. 190Kw FWD. As much as it really hurts to admit it, it's a seriously good thing. Had it at Willowbank track as well and it was more fun than a backyard full of Labradors. Good chassis, fabulous power delivery (torque limited via DCS) 1st and 2nd. Everything available after that. Pure torque steering animal with the DCS off though. :) Who'd have thought.
  22. Mate, it would be far easier to just wait for a correct priced factory manifold. With carbs they're about $250 ish for a set, or $50 for a manifold. Cutting and shutting and manufacturing can be a false economy, particularly when you can get the right part cheaply. R
  23. A better pic would be far more helpful. Simmons tend to have their brand name prominently displayed on the actual rim.
