Okay Guys, listen up. This section is for individuals to put up piccies and discuss their individual piece of Japanese automotive history. It's not a chat room. I assume, being young and computer literate, that you all have MSN, and if you don't, get it. Although your personal discussions maybe good for you guys, it's bloody annoying for everybody else, and quite frankly, we don't care, either. Thank you. R

Learners?
The thing that all new drivers need is as many road hours in all conditions that they can possibly get. Education is the key. Any courses you can afford are even better. I've seen the stats for deaths for young male drivers, and they are SERIOUSLY not good. It seems to stem from a mismatch between ambition and talent. I support any initiative that tries of improve the education of new drivers. *Joins Nick for beer after standing down from soap box.*

That would be the expensive proflex, as opposed to the cheap proflex. :)

Bilstein for the budget, or Proflex if you feel rich.

The hole in the race seat isn't for the harness crotch belt, it's actually somewhere to put his testicles.

1984 Ae71 Panelvan
I know it's going to hurt, but I'd start with a re-core/ good 2nd hand radiator and work from there. I think you're on the right track with carbie. If you kow anyone with a sniffer, it might be a good start. If you're after a reset, pop up and see Brian at Pedders in Geebung, tel him I sent you. He's good value and does an excellent job. Can't help here, but interested in taking the t40 off your hands when you swap. Cheers R

Gasket Sealent
No, you just require the correct technology. Because the Tubes have had 30 years of Gorillas tightening them, you might find the top flange (the bit the o-ring sits under) requires a bit of tap-o-metric attention. Dress it back down to a bit over right-angles again and it will improve sealing. Giving the plug end a bit of a straighten up is also handy, too. Also have a look at the wiki: http://www.rollaclub.com/faq/index.php?tit...eries/Oil-Leaks I tend not to use sealant though. Cheers R
