  1. No one I know would own up to it......
  2. Buying a new leaf and sticking it in is worth about $20 a side. Why bother?
  3. Nope. Not necessarily. In times of entertainment, I can lock up wheels individually. How can you tell you only locked up fronts? Because of weight transfer the rears wouldn't have been doing much anyway.
  4. Houston, we have induction noise. Tell me when you've ever heard EFI sound better. :y:
  5. Cameron, did you know that it is illegal to go through a yellow light if you have the ability to stop? Too Quick, I hate to say it, but put it down to lesson learnt. you'd have stopped quicker if you hadn't locked up, but that's an experience thing.....
  6. I will close this before the flaming starts. We can't tell you what you want. That is for you to decide. This topic has been discussed here and on the rest of the internet ad infinitum. You need to do some serious research, and then get back to us. Oh, and if you put up another post with no attempt at punctuation again, it's going straight to the bin. :y: R

I know the car. It's nice but I don't rate it. Last time I saw it, it still had standard front brakes. Go figure.
  8. CCTV or webcam. :2thumbs:
  9. I concur. Anything over 3 psi is bad. As Kangaroosa said, needle and seat damage will occur if you keep pumping more in. If these are on a decent 5K, they may be a bit small for the engine. I had a 1360 race motor, and the 1.5's were borderline too small. I used ATF in the pots. Worked for me. Get them dyno'd and see what happens.
  10. ... and some of us still think in imperial. :)
  11. Because if he's building a PRC rally car he may have to keep the 3K? That was my reason.
  12. Staright boreing your limited to about 80mm. If you want a further increase you need to stroke the crank. i.e 4K crank. my engiine is 78(will confirm later)mm pistons 4K crank and is 1360cc. low 1400's is achievable, but for how long I don't know. A datsun L14 motor I have seen at 2.3 litres. That's the biggest one I know you can do. R
  13. Why do you think I don't hear to good these days? Use hearing protection thrillseekers! ;)
  14. Hmmmm, just done some google-ing and failed. My suggestion is to contact your local Repco/ Burson and compare part numbers. Sorry.\ R
  15. ;) On second thoughts, :P Yes it can be done. No we don't know how much it'll cost. 15 minutes on the phone will get you the required answers. Thank you. Come again.

Nice, except I want to know who the heathen was that chopped the Sprinter dash to put the gauges in...... As far as master cylinder goes, try something like Lada Niva, Suzuki Swift or RX2 I believe fits without a great deal of trouble. Measure first though. ;) These are all dual circuit too. The gearbox thing is common-ish. I had the same issue. Something to do with the dogs on the syncros (?)...... I'd have to ask my gearbox man to be certain.
  17. ...... we can rebuild. Stay tuned.
  18. Yellowpages.com.au Let your fingers do the walking.
  19. .080 shouldn't upset it that much. I had one down .120, but that was a bit berserk. My old engine had one .080 skimmed an that didn't raise it too much. That was a flat topped piston engine too.
  20. What enigne are you fitting?
  21. The sand pit is open again. Play nicely. R

  23. Yawn....... How about we all pop off and do a bit of introspective navel gazing, and if I can be bothered, I'll open the thread again in twenty four hours. Play nice kiddies, or I won't be so kind in future. Greddy, I apologise for taking this action to your thread. See you all in 24.
