My wifes car has 270K on the clock and the box is as good as new. I haven't heard of this problem before.

I must admit I really enjoy the fabrication side of things too. Building stuff and watching it work provides me a heap of satisfaction. If it works well, all the better. :)

Gentlemen, please be aware that at least one member in here has a Pajero, and actually likes it. It's not a straight translation to wanker, but apparently it's not far off it. Hence they called it a Shogun for a while in Europe.....

With the nut half off, thump the wheel on either side quickly with your fists like a two year old having a tantrum (I can even lend you the two year old, complete with tantrums.) You're not thumping the back of the wheel here, but the front. This loosens the wheel and should come straight off. Never failed for me

Well, actually, 18 year olds are dying at record rates. Especially 18 year old males, who on average are almost 4 times more likely to die on our roads than their female counterparts...... Oh, I could go on for hours. A number of mining companies in rural Qld are now putting in place driver training programs in "their" town's schools. I've done a few of these and are trmendously worthwhile. The program is hopefully going to be enlarged this year, too.

Only bringing it into line(ish) with what other states are doing. However, education is still the key.

All 20's came out with the plates upside down. Somewhere in the last 35 years, someone probably turned them the right way up. There is quite a number of differences between late and early 20's.
