  1. I used the 25 tie rods end, with tie rods I think I stole some off a corona. I just went to Kelly's and wanderd around the Toyota section and found some that fit. Most Toyota ones are longer.
  2. I'm telling you, in back to back testing, the MPS 3 is a better car........ :P
  3. 190Kw Mazda 3 MPS FTW. :P
  4. Dude, a tape measure is your friend. That's the only way you're going to get a difinitive answer.
  5. Moved.
  6. But wouldn't you by definition be affecting the frontal crush zone by adding something that wasn't mean't to be there? i.e: An FMIC?
  7. Well. Yes front mounts are legal; if your car happened to come with one. If your car didn't, you are effecting the frontal impact area of the car, particularly if you're removing material and/or structurally modifying the front end to make it fit. There is no room in the mod plate system for a front mount, and a lot of reputable engineers wont engineer a car with one. Don't shoot the messenger, this is just how it is.
  8. What do you define as "checking up"?
  9. It's next to the one with the spell checker. :) R
  10. I've always colour coded mine, and they haven't looked that bad. Can't help with the silver unfortunately.... :)
  11. Already have one of them. :lolcry:
  12. .... and believe that there is no problem that can't be solved with a stick or some fence wire.
  13. I resemble that remark. 3 out of 4 isn't bad.
  14. It's scary, Steve Frawley and Cammy John were running back in the day when I was down there. Steve Frawley looks to have changed cars though, as I think his old car maybe residing in Qld now. Either that or it was Steve Hallidays Corolla....... Can't remember. Off for a lie down.
  15. Drive it like you're going to use it. :jamie:
  16. Dunno, but what was it doing at Blissy's this morning? :jamie:
  17. Also know as Sydney shock adsorbers as well I believe.
  18. How do you think Starlet's came about?
  19. *sigh* Here we go. That top idea isn't going to work as the 55's have a reasonably small strut, and nothing you're going to find will be small enough to fit inside. Why do you need coil-overs anyway? They're wasted on most people at the best of times, who generally only want them so they can say "look! It's got coil overs!" If you want to keep the originality of the car get some Bilsteins and custom springs and you're fat dumb and happy. Custom springs can be made to any height and any poundage that you want. Easy. No cutting and shutting, no arseing around. Bilstein and Koni. Hessmans (sp?) in Sydney will do what ever you want with a Bilstein. Why? What are you expecting it to do the car that will be benificial? What do you define as a HP swaybar. I have a crowbar down stairs with a bit of heat I reckon I could make you up one. Will 35mm be big enough? I think I'm just getting too old....... /rant
  20. In theory yes, as those seats aren't ADR'd for that particular vehicle.
  21. Can't read the original post without brain exploding. Ergo, can't answer.
  22. That says to me it's a Holden Nova. Now can we get back on topic?
  23. Nope, that's the carrying capacity in the tray.
  24. Plenty of space to hang your gun in the back window though. Can't do that with a Ferrari.
