  1. Wait until TRD Ke70 gets on, or send him a PM, he should know all these answers and more.....
  2. The simplest and easiest upgrade is to put KE55 discs onto your existing KE20 hubs. Oversize and tap four holes for the backing plates and everything bolts in. Cost is a set of rotors and calipers from your friendly wrecker, plus rebuild kit.
  3. I think they may be of something earlier than that, Corona 1600s perhaps? However, if that's pollution gear I see, that's not corect.....
  4. Sorry, what size blouse do you take again? :jamie:
  5. Hi guys. The big difference is that there is less room on the front of a 20 than there is on a 30/55. I would have thought that the right offset 7" would fit. 14x6's fit a piece of proverbial. 8" would be stretching the friendship.
  6. No sense of adventure the young people today. If that was a rally car, I know people who'd have that fixed by Monday! Bad luck Rob. However from the initial photo's, it looks retrievable if you want to go in that direction. Chin up. On the bright side you're still with us, and a lot harder to replace than the 400000 Corollas that were made! Oh, and Raven, I get irate with people slagging 4bys. I own a large white one. R
  7. Buy the best one you can afford and you won't look back. Gasless sucks arse for weld quality. A decent mig rocks. Mig's are a thing where you really get what you pay for.
  8. I used my Dellorto set on my Webers, I'm 95% sure they should be the same.
  9. Two inch system is all you'll require. Ummmm...... The only cats KE30's have are the feline kind that sleep on top of them.
  10. PART NO. 12-3136 Toyota 1600, 1800 Carina, Celica, Corolla, Sprinter Liftback Series TA22-TA23, 2T, 2TC, 3T. Manifold designed to accept 2 x 45 DCOE Weber Carburettors http://www.redlineauto.com.au/redline_manifolds_to_suit.htm Or http://www.tweakit.net/shop/product_info.p...products_id=233
  11. Yep, the 2000GT causes me a stirring south of the navel. Would offer up one or both testicles for ownership of one, as they would be surplus to requirements if I brought one of these babies home. :)
  12. Ummmmm...... No.
  13. RA40's are a big over-weight barge with the factory handling characteristics of a sack of wet mice. An 18R-C is an asthmatic truck motor that should never be refered in the same sentence as performance. TA22's were a better prospect, but still a bit fat for my liking. Lancers of that era were quite nimble little things with a reasonable amount of poke. A better package, even with the cart spring solid rear end. Yep, before you ask, driven them all. :)
  14. Learn to spell exhaust and we may reply to you.
  15. No! No! Don't get me wrong, I've heard some great 4AG's. I'm just an old school Weber man. :)
  16. When you get it going, I'll come around with a chair and a six pack and we can listen to it going around the block a few times.. :)
  17. Yes, they'll fit. Same floor pan.
  18. It can be done, but how long does it last for?? Injection for the t motor sucks the big one. Webers are the go, 45's on a hybrid. You'l NEVER get a 4AG to sound like that! :)
  19. Remind me to show you what a decent 2T_G can do. As for stronger, it all depends on how it's built.
  20. Ooops, sorry. I can difinitively state that inlets are different, and exhaust is the same. My apologies about the confusion. :)
  21. Yep, exhaust side the same, inlet completely different. 4Y crank? Hmmm, worth a look I suppose....
  22. No, the manifolds are completely different. No interchangy's there.:) I can't remember if that's the article that I was thinking of, but it's a damn good one anyway.
  23. There's a one owner for sale in Wavell Heights at the mo.....
  24. It wasn't brand new, it was pre loved, and I'd say in the six figure range.
  25. Erm, no. People make cold air induction for them, but you still have to run it through an air cleaner if you want the engine to last longer than three months. I doubt whether you could get a constant radius to the carbie anyway, I don't think you have the height. And at the end of the day, it's a K motor, the improvement would be negligable.
