The simplest and easiest upgrade is to put KE55 discs onto your existing KE20 hubs. Oversize and tap four holes for the backing plates and everything bolts in. Cost is a set of rotors and calipers from your friendly wrecker, plus rebuild kit.

Hi guys. The big difference is that there is less room on the front of a 20 than there is on a 30/55. I would have thought that the right offset 7" would fit. 14x6's fit a piece of proverbial. 8" would be stretching the friendship.

RA40's are a big over-weight barge with the factory handling characteristics of a sack of wet mice. An 18R-C is an asthmatic truck motor that should never be refered in the same sentence as performance. TA22's were a better prospect, but still a bit fat for my liking. Lancers of that era were quite nimble little things with a reasonable amount of poke. A better package, even with the cart spring solid rear end. Yep, before you ask, driven them all. :)

Erm, no. People make cold air induction for them, but you still have to run it through an air cleaner if you want the engine to last longer than three months. I doubt whether you could get a constant radius to the carbie anyway, I don't think you have the height. And at the end of the day, it's a K motor, the improvement would be negligable.
