Hello all. Just want to guage the interest of running a Defensive driver training day. This would be a defensive course, not an advanced course, concentrating on braking and steering. Aimed towards the newer driver, but still a benefit to those that have been around a bit. No prices at the moment (however one instuctor will be FOC :wink:), and I'd say that it would be held at Willowbank somewhere. Anyone?

In all truth, it probably was both in different incarnations. Rally of Q is this weekend, so Chris is probably preparing rally cars, so I'd expect him to be back next week.

I had a three puck, ceramic, sprung centred clutch made for the 3K rally engine. It was a very happy medium as the sprung centre gave it a slight amount of slippage and not the real on-off that you get with a full solid button. Be warned, your clutch may be doing you a few favours at the moment. Going to a button puts ALOT more stress on the drivetrain. Axles and diffs may/will suffer. Mine was built by Nicks Performance Clutch in Archerfield, QLD.

I understand the K50 boxes to be a bit different. I can state, having done it, that they wont swap on a K40.

I can positively confirm that a early extension housing will not match to a late K40. Went through this trying to find a box for my car with the TRD brothers. R

Dude, I have a full set of taps and dies. More than willing to come over one night and tap my heart out. The other thing is that the threads maybe full of paint? Either way, a quick tap will fix things. Cheers R
