  1. Lowering blocks suck arse. Get them reset.
  2. I ONLY deal with Geebung. Those boys rock.
  3. Which Pedders?
  4. Reset and extra leaf. I get mine done by Pedders in Geebung (where a set of mine should be going tomorrow). :)
  5. Gemini's don't really have the gears for it. 1st is too short for motorkhana's, and 2nd is too tall. 20 series and grunter K for the win.

This is your friendly moderator. For sales are for exactly that. The regional forums are for regional goings-on. Quote from Rollaclub posting rules: "For Sale, WTB, EOI etc threads are to be ONLY posted in the For Sale area. Please don't post them in the Region forums." You don't have to like the rules, however you do have to live with them. Cheers R
  7. I think that pretty much answers it. ;)
  8. It should be stated that I own rally cars, and therefore don't mind a bit of buggered paint, and as such, the wrong person tio ask that question. You can get it done relatively easily as there are specific tools around that will do the job. I've done it in the past with anything from a pair of multigips to an anvil in the boot plus two mates and a piece of roll cage pipe. As for suspension, like anything, you get what you pay for. The front struts on the 25 are custom Pedders, made in melbourne. They're excellent. (see below) I run 225 lb springs in it, which is a bit heavy for rally, and a bit light for tarmac, but works well as a happy medium. You can also do things like put more thread on your castor arms (may need machining to initial threading size) to get a greater amount of castor. I'm also tend to make adjustable lower control arms by installing rose joints (Note:Not a legal mod). I run two different spring packs, although both run the same springs reset. I also run an extra 8mm leaf in both packs. For shock adsorbtion on the 25 I've had great success with Pedders comfort gas. Honestly! I don't advise this for all Corollas, as the 37 had something similar and they sucked badly. (I hae Bilsteins in that one now). The tarmac pack also has the main leaf flipped so the eyelets are upside down. This allows the spring to maintain some of the original curve. Unfortunately I don't have any picture of the springs handy. However I'll include pics in both high and low trim. Hope this helps. R
  9. Motorkhana's aren't just about power. Too much Hp is actually detrimental to good times.
  10. I've yet to find a Sprite/Midget in 15 years over 4 states that I can't do over in a Corolla.
  11. Tiger is unfortunately off the forums for a little while. You'll know when he's back.
  12. A mate had a mid eighties Civic Si import. Great motorkhana car and fuel injected. Superfast. I'm also with Col, 20 series Corolla. Better suspension out of the box than a ten. Good K motor and away you go. Rule out a VW, pigs to motorkhana, I've never in 16 years seen one truly competitive.
  13. My wife let me buy a new rally car when she was 7 months pregnant. That's about the time most people have to sell theirs!
  14. A lot of it is hard to prove. I personally don't take notice of my odo when I drop a car off somewhere. We have there word for it that the steering is out. Yes, it's a poor trim job. It actually looks amateur to me. With that much dust on it I'd say it hasn't been anywhere. There is no proof that it has even been in a shop. I"m quite suspect about the whole thread.
  15. The ultimate in driving simulators. http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=...758&q=rally

Correct firing order? Try and get a gun on it to check the timing while it's going. Pull plug leads off to see which one isn't firing and work from there.
  17. My problem today is that I've been working on the wrong bloody one. However, Mrs Dwarf's car is good for another 264000 kms now. :P Sorry, I'll try and do it tomorrow.
  18. I'll reply to this properly tomorrow. Take a couple of piccies while I'm at it.
  19. Col, He lives in QLD, not Maryborough. We don't do ice. :lock_folder: If it gets real bad, come and see me. I'm in Aspley, and I'll take a look at it. R
  20. All in the name of art. http://ueba.net/hosted_pages/Suspended-Honda-F1-Car-20060730
  21. I would have thought that 1K all up would get you a nice-ish one on the raod, however one of our residet KE70 guru's should be able to fill you in better....
  22. Actually, as he's already done one before, I'm sure he'll do another.....
  23. I personally think you have Buckley's. You should be able to pick one up for $500 that you can reg and RWC yourself, but I think you're going low if you think you'll pick oone up with everything.
  24. It was actually tailgate down vs tailgate up. FWIW, if I reset the gizmos before a show on the ute, I get about 40 to 43l/100kms. No wonder the boss whinges about the fuel bill!
