  7. chokes are held in by the aircleaners, so don't be too concerned, justmake sure that the cleaner backing plates hold the chokes in. Piss the ramflo off, too, they're useless. As for the rest, I'll make some enquiries when I get home at the end of the week. Cheers R
  8. Was going to be sweep for the event, but unfortunately must attend work in Melbourne... :P
  9. Hey Justin, it's almost as bad as mine was, isn't it?? :(
  10. That or go to the octagon site, and you should be able to get the supp regs. Targa regs are a lot more specific than the tarmac regs, AFAIK, and if your building a car, you need the targa regs.
  11. You've stolen my line. K motors have their place, and contrary to your belief, not at the bottom of the ocean. Pity you never got to see Evo 1 with it's k motor.
  12. Purchase a Gregory's manual and it will give you a step by step guide on how to do the job.
  13. I actually concur with you Doug, but hell, a man IS allowed to dream! :lmao:
  14. Well, done bugger all to anything as I currently have a head cold that has inflated my head several sizes over it's already elevated proportions. I did however measure the chokes on the webers last night with Teddy, because they looked inordinately big. They've been taken out to 38mm. Conclusion to that is one of three things. 1: Somebody doesn't know how to set up Webers. 2: Somebody couldn't afford 45's. 3: This engine could be the best $500 I've ever spent, and is going to throw me out the back window of the car. I'm hoping for option 3. :lmao:
  15. Slide on spacers are not, bolt on spacers are, AFAIK in Qld.... Give Qld Transport a yell..
  16. KE70 is 2400mm per http://www.geocities.com/WallStreet/3636/ke70/ and a couple of other places. Google is your friend. :lmao:
  17. To save copyright infringement, could you please reference where you lift information wholesale from, or please link to it. R
  18. As per homologation papers: *E2X series: 2335mm *E3X and 55 series: 2370mm
  19. You're forgiven. Don't do it again. :)
  20. once I've charged my camera batteries, I'll take a photo.....
  21. That's my thought, too. The whole car reeks of TA22
  22. Not much progress today, just got the stuff Felix wanted out of the car. However, have been taking Piccies. Now, calling all T50 gurus.... can anyone tell me what this box is out of? My guess is early Celica. Shifter is forward enough to fit through a normal 20 shifter hole. I've also included a pic of the clutch mechanism thingy, so that the cable clutch can operate it. A nice bit of work has been done to the gearbox crossmember to allow the exhaust past, too. Pics too of the 2tg and the panhard rod mount.
  23. It's not that bad, I'd say it just get's a bit fiddly on the install.
  24. Thats a 70, there'd been over 10 years of technology by then. :)
