Firstly, which state are you in, as it varies between states. I have TA22 struts and brakes on mine, and it passed engineering fine, although we are upgrading to Magna rotors and VT V8 4 spots.

Honestly? No, I never did that. I was fortunate enough to get into motorsport almost as soon as I got my license, which therefore gave me no need to do things like that. You've obviously paid the appropriate penalty for what you did, and accepted the results, which is all good. However, I would like to point out that it is not something that is encouraged around here, as seen by the previous two posts. I apologise for being somewhat of a Nazi about it, but I'm VERY passionate about such things. Just as long as we all understand each other. :D

Apart from that being the slowest download of my life, this board does not condone illegal acts of that nature. It gives the rest of the us a bad name. As that is on a public domain, people have been charged on video evidence such as that. You may want to consider taking it down. I preferred the first one. At least the right wheels were spinning, and he was doing it in a controlled enviroment, and not behaving like a tool.

Piece of advice No 1: Buy Raynman's car, it'll be cheaper than building a rally car of your own. Think about it, Roll cage $1500, seats $1000, Webers, $700. Lite ace diff, tyres, tripmeter, driving lights.... it all adds up. It's a good price for a good car. $500 to get it up from Melbourne!!

Open wheeler steering wheels are small because they can't fit anything bigger in there. Look at a V8 supercar wheel, it'll be 14" or 15". I have a 13" wheel in the old car, and I believe it could really use a 14"wheel. Small steering wheels are VERY overrated. We still use standard steering wheels on the utes..... Tell me, do you find that you drive with your thumbs on the inside of the steering wheel?
