  1. You ask the same question lots you get angry moderators. For you to have a long and happy stay, this is not adviseable. Not that I can see.
  2. ^^^^ That's where you get ripped. I pay nothing at all to keep both my Victorian and Queenslandic personal plates.
  3. Anybody that's ever wrecked one should have one. I probably have a couple down stairs if you want me to look.
  4. From the rules that You have agreed to: Feel free to readvertise in a couple of days. :locked:
  5. Gday Jesse, All for sales, wrecking etc must be posted in the classifed area, not in the regions. Thanks for your understanding, Cheers R
  6. Gday, I know you want swaps, but per the forums rules, all items must have a price. This will at least give punters an idea of what you value your car at. Regards, R
  7. Do you have a photo of half a KE70? Send it to him and say $600 worth of the Corolla is ready for pick up. :)
  8. Whoooooa!!! Virus alert!!!! Just got attacked going to the site......
  9. Who'd have thought there could be sooooooo many variations on a shoebox. :D
  10. Send a message to Ranko87. I know he was running a KE20 in this spec for a bit. I can't help you with the round'n'roundy stuff unfortunately. I'm a forest boy. :) By the way, Motorsport is a disease, the only cure is poverty. :D
  11. All off the above, except I'm not nice. :locked:
  12. The shed is going to be 15x9m. It's the block of dirt I bought to put it on thats the killer. :D
  13. I think my wife is saying the same thing about me at the moment. I'm building a new shed. It's cost me $275k so far with another $50k to go. :D
  14. No. Your box will not work on your 4AG. Don't use lowering blocks, get your leaf springs ptrofessionally reset. Yes it will cost money. Get some 4AG RWD extractors. They're around. They probably wont be cheap. Conversions always cost more than you think. Rule of thumb, work out what you think it will cost, then add 50%. Then add a bit more. That should get you 75% of the way through the project.
  15. As we had neither of those combinations in Australia, he's going to find that hard to source.
  16. Remember this golden rule. If you can afford to race it, you must be able to afford to fix it. I personally would build the car the other way around. I personaaly believe that it would be far easier to drift a track car (I refuse to call it "grip") than vice versa. Oh, and I can tell you first hand, Proflex rocks. :D
  17. Wrong way around. K-T bellhousing will allow you to put a t box on a K motor. K boxs have the box and bell housing all in one piece, so there's no adapting them.
  18. Wow, two pages in and I haven't been sledged yet for being the resident spelling/ grammar Nazi. :D

This needs to be posted in the "wanted to buy" area, not regions. Cheers R
  20. You will never hear me complain about how much I make. Just about how much I have to give away. :) However, some guy in Africa wants to give me some money, enough that I think I could take early retirement.......
  21. Paying $1668 in tax for the last fortnight. And each and every other fortnight.
  22. Tell Van to lay off the donuts. :D
  23. I'll state from the outset that I was once hired, as a professional driver, by a manufacturer, to display stability control of a new model to all the sales people. This was done in a huge area, in controlled manner. Having worked closely on other projects with the sales reps, I can also tell you that contrary to what they believe, their skill levels are not in any way shape or form higher (and in many cases lower) than Joe Public's. Which now begs the question. What in the name of all that is holy did this tool think they were doing? That is not something to be "shown" to a customer in a test drive. Did the DP go down to the local markets and find the largest pineapple he could, come back and insert it? Shortly followed by a letter stating to never darken the doorstep again? Seriously, that could be classed as negligent driving.
  24. You haven't driven much on race tracks, have you? The big thing there is a couple of things: Didn't correct quick enough (that one is kind of obvious), Steering doesn't work when the wheels are locked. The car was unsettled coming out of the sweeper, a bag full of loud peddle none too graciously applied completed the application to have an accident. That said the car looks like a bit of a hairy dog to drive. The application of throttle at 10 secs was the big mistake. Everything after that was a consequnce.
  25. Mine was a $3000 motor 8 years ago and it was a sponsered deal. It did have other things done to it, but I also know 7 different types of pistons went in before we found some that we were happy with. This is not a simple job. Put a 4/5K in. same result, MUCH cheaper.
