  1. Lifting the wheels on the gear change
  2. and the green one (kermit sticker on rear gaurd)
  3. Couldnt get the movies smaller without shit quality - so here are a few screen caps.
  4. I have a K50 behind my hot 5K and havent had any problems so far. I also had a K50 behind my 4K, but broke two teeth off second gear after a quick shift. I must admit that the box that broke, put up with a heap of punishment for about 4 years. That time included about 3 years with a locker, which i imagine reduced its life span considerably. So in my opinion, the K50's are pretty strong. As long as you don't give them a hard time day in and day out. If you want the piece of mind of knowing that you have a strong gearbox, then go for the T50 or W* series box. The only other problem is - If you don't break a gearbox, then generally something else fails in the driveline. Unless you upgrade other driveline components. I suppose a clutch is cheaper to replace anyway.
  5. I've got few movies of that 4 door ke30 Rolla from the drags. With the rotary in it of course. Wheelstands off the line, and then it popped the wheels up again with every gearshift - Very Impressive. I also have a movie of a Green KE30 2 Door. They are pretty big, so i'll try and edit them down and post them up.

  7. I chose a carrot. Question 9 and the prick was onto me. Or so i thought. Then questions 12-16 he turned around and asked does it have fangs and all animal related questions. Question 17 he told me i was pitiful and that i chose a carrot. I thought i almost beat him.
  8. I would have to agree with that. My brother owned a VU SS 5.7L and he was always having trouble with it. Under warranty he got 2 new engines, a clutch, a starter motor, water pump and few other things that have slipped my mind. He sold that and now owns a 5.7L VX Panel Van and it uses oil like you wouldn't believe. Some people just never learn to buy quality. *insert toyota symbol here*
  9. Corolla + 308 = Drag Car or Summernats Burnout Car
  10. Squirrles, Natures Little Speed Humps Never do anything you wouldnt want to explain to a Paramedic
  11. Thats what i was going to say - hehe
  12. I think the person who wrote the letter, is a hoon himself/herself. Dole bludgers don't kill people but rather street racers and hoons do. Or are more likely to. So where is relativity of the argument. Having said that, I can't stand Dole bludgers - They shit me actually. Theres a time and a place for this sort of behaviour. I used to spectate about 7-8 years ago and havent been again. Most of the people that race are HACKS and are Inexperienced. This is a recipe for disaster. Lately its been all over the Local papers here in South East Melbourne. The cops setup camera's in nearby Offices/Businesses behind tinted glass (with the permission of the owner as they don't like burnout marks out the front of their businesses). They then take footage every night these meets happen for a few weeks. Then they organise a mass road blockage where 10-15 cop cars block the roads exiting the area (the chopper was even used a few times to track cars that went bush bashing to get away). The regulars that were caught on camera had their cars seized permanently and were charged on video evidence for numerous offences. All cars in the area got Defected (and i mean ALL cars). Anyone else caught doing illegal activties on the night were also charged on video evidence. Have a think about that next time anyone wants to attend these gatherings.
  13. Here is my car with Enkei RS6 wheels. (photshopped of course) I'll have a crack at a KE55 tommorow night. It was only a rush job to get a general feel for what they look like - So please don't pick on my handy work.
  14. I honestly think they are the best looking/size wheels that you could use for everyday use. I am considering them too. I'll have to intall Adobe Photoshop again and see what they look like on my car.
  15. I'm insured with shannons. Full comp and agree value at $4000, costs me around $480/year. Basically, i am allowed to do anything to my car (as long as its roadworthy / engineer approved). No limit basically. Might be worth looking into Shannons for insurance if you have problems.
  16. Yeah i don't mind them either. They even have the studs around the perimeter. Ohh, and nice dish for all the dish fans.

  20. This is a link to Vicroads. It details what your car has to comply with to be roadworthy. I originally read the requirements wrong. http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/vrne/vrnav....A256B5F007AE7F3 The overall diameter of any replacement rim and tyre must not be: -more than 15mm greater than largest diameter tyre specified by the vehicle manufacturer for that model or vehicle series; or -more than 15mm less than the smallest diameter tyre specified by the vehicle manufacturer for that model or vehicle series. The width of any replacement rim must not be: -more than 25mm greater than the widest wheel specified by the vehicle manufacturer for that model or vehicle series; or -less than the width of the narrowest rim specified by the vehicle manufacturer for that model or vehicle series -Spacers between the wheel and hub are not permitted unless provided by the vehicle manufacturer as original equipment Wheel nuts must engage the thread of the wheel stud for at least the same length as the original wheel nut and have the same taper as the mating wheel stud hole. The stud pattern of the replacement wheel must be the same as the original. Re-drilling wheels, hubs, drums, discs or axle flanges is not permitted. Wheels with slotted stud holes are not permitted.
  21. YEP - That wheel looks the best so far. I actually wanted something similar for my car, but couldnt get the right stud pattern. You got anymore info on those wheels? I want to look into them further. *EDIT* don't bother - I found them on Tempe Tyres. BTW - I thought here in VIC, the biggest wheels you could go are 2" bigger diameter than standard. That means 15". The first wheels pictured are Concept 5 Silver 16 x 6.5. This wheel is available in the following offsets +20,+30,+38&+40. We also make this wheels in shadow chrome and full chrome.
  22. He's already spending $4000 on bodywork and paint. Numerous Dollars on custom interior and stereo install, and the car is planned to be a show car. I don't think he would mind spending a few more bucks on a NICE set of wheels - after all, its one of the first things you see. I hope you don't get offended, but both those wheels you showed were shite.
  23. I fell in love with these when i saw them on the KE55 that Junior was doing up. The best wheels EVER (my opinion only). Its a shame they are rare. Nick tells me the only place i might find them are Jap importers. I think if you could find something similar to these, then you could be onto a winner. Ohh, the wheels are "Zeptors". http://www.rollaclub.com/gallery/index.php...pters.jpg&idx=0 BTW - the build-up / progress pics on Juniors KE55 don't work anymore. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?s...&hl=junior+ke55
  24. another fine example.
  25. Most people buy utes for the obvious reason - work. The you get the Country Bumpkins who buy utes to - Install 6 or more Aerials - Plaster the Tailgate in Stickers - Install HUGE truck mudflaps - Install Custom made side skirts - Fit vertical truck exhaust stacks/pipes - Install HUGE Bullbars and lastly, but probably the most common - Install a minimum of two Spotlights (generally 4 or more) As long as they think it looks good. :)
