  1. A mate of mine Photoshopped this a few years ago. It gives you an idea of what simmons b45's look like on similar shaped car to yours anyway. Pity they look like they are 21" wheels though.
  2. They are hyper fangs - or something like that. I know a few blokes that have them on gemini's. They look OK, but not my cup of tea.
  3. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=2109&hl= http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=893&hl= http://www.tradingpost.com.au/addisplay.as...arch&origpage=1 http://www.tradingpost.com.au/addisplay.as...arch&origpage=1 http://www.tradingpost.com.au/addisplay.as...arch&origpage=1
  4. I Personally wouldnt go the simmons. Sure they might look OK, but every tom dick and harry has them now. They used to be seen as a prestigeous wheel, now every second commodore has them. If its a showcar, go for something original - or at least something that hasnt been seen on every other car. (i don't mean some stupid chrome ricey 17" wheels either, though). Your going to spend $4000 on a paint job, $$$$$ on a stereo and custom interior - Then the first group of young blokes to see the final product will say "Hey boys, its got Simmons like the ones on my Commodore". Well maybe not - but you can see the point i am making.
  5. Your joking right. They are worse than the 3rd wheel in the poll. :)
  6. I used to know a chick who had dished corolla rims on her KE30. They were just the stock 13" steelies, but they had some nice dish. Anyone ever seen these?
  7. I got this in my weekly FHM email. I got a good laugh out of it. http://www.fhm.com/site/bigeye/linkframe.a...coppedafeel.swf
  8. I noticed these wheels are all 5 stud. Can you get them in 4 x 114.3? or are you planning on changing the stud pattern? If i had to choose, i'd go the ANZ vegas. The first two are pretty much the same - but i like the slightly poilshed look better (and the lower price tag too :) ). The third wheel just looks shite. It belongs on a riced up silvia or something. BTW - What do you think about these? http://www.1010tires.com/wheel.asp?wheelbr...&wheelmodel=RS6
  9. I couldn't have said it better myself. I'd be going for a 5K. Wait a minute, I already have. :P
  10. Well at the moment i only have two subs in the boot. I got a new interior last year and didnt want to mess it up by chucking all my tools on the floor and back seat. So now they are in the boot (in place of the other subs). Besides, i'm getting old and two subs is way more than i need. Ohh and the shopping gets chucked on the front and rear seats and floor. Amongst all the other crap like my twin SU's, Oil bottle, 2x Alternators and the list goes on.
  11. Found this in the engine conversion section. Its for a KE70, but i assume its pretty much the same. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=417
  12. I realised i hadn't posted here yet. I meant to a while ago but got side tracked. I'm only a few months late, right? Nickname - kangaroosa (well its just my email actually) Real Name - Darren Location - Melbourne Car - KE30 2 Door, 5K powered.
  13. Or you can visit this link and see how i did it. :) Yes, the fuel tank is still behind the seat. http://www.rollaclub.com/database/viewpic.php?id=00000216
  14. don't feel bad. I havent seen any of the episodes from start to finish. Its just not my thing i guess.
  15. Liars - This is the real ending. Hehe
  16. LOL - I love that one.
  17. Gotta love the price of Rolla's these days. You decided on a paint colour yet? Lets hope the stereo doesn't pop the Bog out. or even the windows, hehe.
  18. The new 2003 Corolla is the 9th rendition of that model and, like other Toyota products, the Corolla has been improving and moving slightly up-market with each succession. Since its introduction in 1966 (1968 in America), the Corolla has been the all-time best selling car in the world. More than 25 million Corollas have been sold in 142 countries. You can't argue with success. (Stolen from this Site) http://66.102.7.104/search?q=cache:yM63lan...d&hl=en&start=8
  19. I don't want to ruin the surprise before other people have a chance to guess, so i'll type the link and you can click it if you like. http://64.233.187.104/search?q=cache:tcM44...d&hl=en&start=2
  20. Thats easy. Its the VL Commodore. LOL - Well it seems that way sometimes here in Melbourne. Amazingly enough, they are all "Interceptors". But seriously, I would take a stab and say in a broad sense - Holden / GMC
  21. 6 years i bought my 4-1 extractors for $180 brand new from an exhaust shop. Then an extra $200 for a 2" pipe and two resonators with a 3" droop tip. These days, anything over over $500 for the complete package, i would consider to be excessive. Shop around is my best advice. I always found that places like Midas, Daalder and all the other well known companies are way more expensive than someone like your local exhaust shop.
  22. I love the look on the faces of the people that noticed the boobies. The kid on the far left of the pic seems to be enjoying it
