  1. Yeah, after recently having family members taken out by an inpatient prick. Guess there is issues.
  2. I hear you with the car trailer. Used to get it a lot I'm Melbourne. People just had to get in front of you before the next lights not realising that I needed a lot more distance to stop than they did. Geez that ute had good brakes, cause the trailer didnt....... In Ballarat, you always look before moving off from a green light, cause some nufty will be running the red!
  3. Instead of endangering yourself, the people you are passing, oncoming traffic, pedestrians, cyclist, little kiddies chasing balls etc. why don't you back off 20m or so. It wont make any difference to your arrival time except that you wont be potentially putting some inocent person in a morge. I am also sick of my family being put at risk because of some tosser who can't stand to be stuck behind a people mover. If I am going under the speed limit, there is a ʞ©$ɟing good reason for it, so crawling over my arse and passing me in a built up area or passing me over a blind crest is just stupid. If people have a death wish, keep my family out of it. I'm just glad that I have had a bit of motorsport experience so I have been able to read situations and react accordingly to save people from pain.
  4. Used to be a Civic rally car running bike carbs in Ballarat. It used a header tank that the fuel was pumped into. The carbs were then gravity fed from this as they wouldnt handle the fuel pressure of the pump.
  5. That circlip is the adjustment for the clutch. If you don't have it, it don't work. I used to have a spare or two in the glove box just in case.
  6. Neales Wheels are reproducing Hotwires. Start at 15x8's and go up to 15x12's. Just the thing for filling out the guards of a Rolla :)
  7. Just had my laptop updated at work and a number of programs have gone missing. One in particular is required for work but they managed to delete it. Of course the techs no nothing........ Could throw in the disc to reload it but the drivers are so out of date - had issues the last time the laptop was changed in the Windows Vista age as well - and it is pain in the ass being able to use the program to design signs etc but not being able to cut them really gives me the shits. From memory it was a prick to locate the right drivers off the net. Ended up contacting the manufacturure of the cutter last time ʞ©$ɟ YOU TECHS!!!! :finger:
  8. The crappy litle carby on our Honda weed eater motor seemed to handle the ethanol fuel ok. Just needed to drill the jet out a wee bit.
  9. BASTARD!!!!!!!!! :P
  10. don't some of the late KE70's run a 3 speed auto??
  11. Dunno about Melbourne, but I'm eying off the kids floaties at the moment. Hasnt stopped raining for close to 24hrs. Even have a nice creek running through work for the first time ever.
  12. man up???????? Seriously, not having any sick days left at work sucks.
  13. Sorry, IMO you are wasting money. You shouldnt need 98 octane in a standard K motor. Ahh those were the days, leaded fuel :)
  14. not hard, just play with the remote ;)
  15. Ran KE35 items in my KE20. Had to cut them down to suit the smaller tower and reposition a couple of holes a bees dick. Knocked out two of the studs, fitted it up inside of the strut housing using one stud. Used a drill to drill two new mounting holes, or in my case elongate two of the existing ones. Once this was done, I refitted the studs and mounted it all up.
  16. Or buy two and sandwich them together with a little silastic.
  17. Unless you have coil overs fitted, you are wasting your time with camber tops. There aint no room in the tower to move the the standard spings in. You could of always run a die down the castor rods to cut some longer threads to wind on more castor, if that is what you needed. And, the crossmember can be redrilled to move the LCA's out ;)
  18. Close - education department
  19. centre bolt or pin that locates the diff on the springs.
  20. WGMG - being treated like crap by people at work until they want something........................ They seem to think its strange when they are told no :hmm:
  21. don't know if T18 stuff is the same, but I changed KE3# discs back to the early pattern by swapping the outer part of the disc. Unbolted the hub part and swapped between the KE20 and the KE3#. Needed to do this as I swapped to the later calipers, which stuffed up the caliper to disc spacing. Hope this made sense.................
  22. Far as I know, no. But you can get them retro fitted like an ex did to her KE20.
  23. Not as much as it would be to Vic :P
  24. If you swap the axels to get the later pattern, remember to shorten them a bees to suit the narrower KE2# diff housing.
  25. mmmmmmmmm LSD, stronger diff, stock wheels........... Only possibility I can think of is early RX7's or maybe RX3. Early bolt pattern and I guess that LSD's would be available but cost is going to be a killer for the conversion. Easier to convert to the later bolt pattern and source suitable steelies from another Toyota/Nissan/Mrbitchy. But even then converting a Skyline/Hilux/Celica diff isn't going to be cheap.
