  1. Front guards all straightened. Stoneguard sills and bottom of guards to match.
  2. once all patch the underside got washed.. wire wheeled. rust converted. etched. seam sealed to prevent it happening again and the re stonguard entire underside.
  3. Next up is front guards. whilst rust repairing many refits happen to ensure it lines up with the body.
  4. Paint!! this was the first round..
  5. rust. cut all plated but again no photo.. shiiit. fixed in primer. body in primer boot and bonnet in primer
  6. bonnet was pretty ripply. bang it out as best ya can and skim it. boot was alright. clean!! rust! fixed. weld thru primer is a must. the copper stuff. bottom bit also got plated jst don't have a photo. after that etch and seam sealer followed.
  7. doors all in primer. used epotec grey/green. awesome primer for corosion resistance but a bitch to rub down.
  8. Took the bonnet off and stripped it bare. found some gheyness under the front trim.. so wire wheel. rust convert.. weld some holes up.. seam seal underside.. etch and stonguard top. sweet.
  9. bit of surface rust on the edges here. wire wheeled it all etched it. masked the lip and hit it with stoneguard. tidies it up and looks kinda good in my opinion. then doors stripped straightened and prepped for priming, before nazis come along and say 'u can't use bog on paint' yes you can if its a polyester. and even still non polyesters are fine on paint.. just not recommended.
  10. onto the rust patch. same side outter guard. warped a bit took quite a smashing with the slapper to get a nice shape to it.
  11. so boot floor was a bit shite, only this side though.. coinsides with the side that had sap all over it. other side of boot floor is perfect. wasnt too bad after a wire wheel and rust convert. had some small patches and holes to weld up. This is what came outta there. So after the rust treatment i etched it. seam sealed it and put a thick coating of stoneguard in there. put fresh seam sealer all up in the fender well as well.
  12. Ok so blown head gasket.. mighta been cos it sat around for years and years. but meh head is in ok condition. will just get it cleaned up and put back on. So this car is quite good so i decided to facelift it. All original style tho. too good to spoil. Suss the condition of these doors. NO rust. all of them were like this. perfect.
  13. here is my td.. pretty good nick. speedo only reads 36k kms.. kinda believe is considering condition on interior and all rubbers are still soft.. no road grime in door jams etc. I'm now 3rd owner. 2nd owner unfortunately stored it under a tree and didnt do anything with it for a couple of years. so the roof boot and bonnet paint got destroyed by sap. 17. ok so this weekend its all getting painted. alot of work has been done. windscreens out dash out etc. so far body, all doors, bonnet, sideskirts are all getting painted this arvo. i did paint some stuff a while ago but wasnt quite happy with the colour. so i have modified it. well here is some pics of the colour before interior is all at trimmers now getting stripped bolstered and redone in leather.
  18. got myself stivo front lip and levin sideskirts. pic of font end all widened and lip test fitted. Looks kinda staunch. new wheels for it, bit different for this type of car but hey i love it. 15x8 +20 then wrapped in toyo proxes 225/50/15 few fitment pics.. car will go on coilovers eventually. for the moment i may jst take a half coil out to bring it down a bit.
  19. Soooo been ages but the rolla has come a fair way. long way to go still. Just before i pulled it off the road. Had spot repairs all done. Started stripping it down. then came fibreglass flairs. riveted and glued on. Body got cut back and rewelded. then moulded on for that smooth look. moulded them onto the bumpers as well to make it seem factory. basically moulded it all as one then cut my own bodyline.
