I had the same problem, just swapped over carbs from a 3K-H (when my old 25 had the 3K). wouldnt start by cranking, only way to start i was push start it and keep the revs above 2,000 or so rpm. I think it was the idle circuit. just garb a carb, clena it up and see how u go

you could take of the ceramic ballast resistor maybe. but just goto the wreckers and grab a coil of car without points. I'm running a Bosch GT40 High energy coil on my ute which has an electronic ignition. Ive heard they are very good coils, havent had a problem with mine. just a note, i know with Bosch and maybe other high energy coils have a part number starting with HEC (stands for High Energy Coil :P)

what they can't see they don't know. id say maybe a 3k head to up compression, cam, carb and maybe a not so noticable sports exhaust. I think SA and possibly Tas are the only STATES with out P plate restrictions thats a big win for Ryan :P

Lookin Good. i personally wouldnt plumb it back into the air filter. just put one of those little filters on the oulet of the catch can. but thats just me, I'm not too keen on having anything apart from air and fuel going near my carb. let alone oil. Oil is apparantly a de-octaniser(dunno if it s a real word) ive heard oil can knock upto 10 octane points off your fuel. :P

Thats just me tho, plenty of it at work. but alot more spring steel. I'm with ya on getting the right wheels tho.
