  1. I had some slippy Hankooks on the back of my 25 when i had it. I stuck them on the front because the old ones were scrubbing. Went to drift a corner and being slippies they uh...Slipped. the front wheels broke traction at the same time as the rears and thats how i put the 25 into a kerb. so yea, Hankook slippies are good tires for street dorifto but no good for front wheels. Whadda ya expect for $30 a pr

  10. hey mate and welcome to rolla club. first bit of advice, I work at a springmakers and ive learnt that heating the spring steel can make it more prone to breaking and thats something you don't want in your suspension. flipping the leaves is the easiest way and the cheapest :sob:. CHEERS Ryan

    Spotted

SPOTTED, yellow/bamboo KE38 parked at the Forbes Park Shopping Center in Plympton about 8:20am today and Corolln, parked in his driveway:P Yea, i would say going buy the BHG and how long it took to pop up in the dealership its had been givin s bit of stick by the previous owner. as the guy that built it sold it for $3,000 and about 6-10weeks later it was already in the dealership. details as far as i kno: '74 (i think) KE25 coupe deluxe overrated black interior, some sort of wierd bent shifter????? Ford XC orange Fully built and balanced 7K, Turbo Head, Custom Log Manifold, Hi mount T25 (i think), drawthru weber sidedraught carb, cold air induction, 5 speed commercial trans and 3.36 or 3.55 Holden Banjo diff with fresh LSD. Last time i saw it every alloy part in the engine bay was polished including turbo compressor housing. The guy who built it goes by the name of Mark and was VERY meticulous (spelling?) in everything he did. apart from the BHG it would be a very nice corolla. was told by Mark that it is pumping in the reigon of 250rwhp. And yes Mark built the whole car including everything in and on the motor yes I'm kicking myself now as i had the chance to buy it for just $3,000 which woulda included a shed fulla parts and a 5K setup for turbo which the eng# came from. But unfortunatly apprentice wages arent all that generous:( live an learn. CHEERS Ryan
  16. um, choppin them i guess. unless you want to focus more on the struts but yea. apart from new lowered front springs thats the only (safe) way id do it.
  17. i built a few of these, but they were spindle drive and maxed out at about 45-50kays. that was with a 20 something cc engine. lotsa fun, till ya snap the crank :fuzz:
  18. optus isnt too bad, although if you have a say 10gig plan they split it in 2 and allocate half for on peak (12pm-11:59pm) and half for off peak(12am-11:59am). if you use up all of the off peak first that off peak allocation gets speed limited and the on peak still recieves full speed. BUT if you use up the on peak allocation first it speed limits both sets of allocations. meaning if you don't use the net between midnight and noon, which most people that work can't do your only getting half of what your plan allows for.
  19. i 2nd all of the above, specially #2
  20. looks good for 25bux. at least touchin up stone chips will be easy. and good job, ya kept the paint off the windows, least we kno you and your mates can colour inside the lines.
  21. what about for those into gaming have super mario or some character on the gauge back ground and his hand as the needle. just like watches. look funny seeing their arm swing round real fast on the tach or somethin.
  22. NOPE i don't see that driving like a dick head. i see that as tryin to get my girlfriend and her brothers out of what could have turned into a very violent situation. and after being punched in the face i don't think either me or him were prepared to hop out and talk things through. and other than that i have never been hassled or pulled over by the cops, nor have i given them any reason to.
  23. lol...commodore...the ones that give holden a bad name=[
  24. Wanna buy my car? i got a wagon for sale that needs alot less work. only about 3 spots of rust and its on gas , just a thought
