  13. on his profile he hasnt logged on since Last Active 19th March 2007 - 12:45 PM so I would say he has got rid of his corolla because he is too old for junior sedans now
  14. I will look at larger Rotors if they will fit and try and cross reference so I will have thicker and vented rotors which the preludes come with.
  15. I just came back from driving the rolla with the new baileys channel and its got rid of 90% of the noise. Now I can actually hear the radio :) I would reccomend this for every Corolla driver because after 30 years they don't seal well
  16. Thanks for the Rx7 spacings I'm looking into the honda Because I'm trying to do a cheap upgrade that has improved braking but I don't need 4 spot big disc braking I just want to give my brakes a bit more bite thank the tiny brakes i have now. You should write up a thread once you have finished your conversion I think many people may be intrested
  17. I contacted the guy with the calipers on ebay and he sent me some more pics and some measurements here is the corolla caliper vs the honda caliper Corolla caliper Bolt Spacing= 140mm Piston Outer daimeter=42mm Piston Piston Outer daimeter at brake pad= 38mm Honda Prelude Caliper Bolt Spacing= 140mm Piston Outer daimeter=55mm Piston Piston Outer daimeter at brake pad= 55mm
  18. Driving at 100 Km/h is a very loud experience in the corolla so in an effort to cut don the noise i bough new baileys channel which seals the window. When I looked at mine it was old hard and brittle and not much of it left :) But I bought 4m of it which is just enough to do the front 2 door which where the loudest. Here are3 some pics I will report later at the noise difference The New stuff Old Stuff Finished
  19. I'm not a fan of the wheel but that is one of the neatest rolla's i've seen Keep it up mate. How Hard was it to modify those seats to fit?
  20. I have a 3K in my speedway bored 60thou with a hot cam thats all the mods and I run it at 6600-7000 all the time for the whole race. Thats unbalanced and without a lightened flywheel or anything.
  21. Let us know how much you lap times drop. I wish I had a track not too far away from me :lolcry: Have you sorted those suspension issues?
  22. Ok thanks guys I might try and source some calipers locally because they want $40 postage + $40 for the calipers and I could probably find some cheaper locally and no one has bidded on the calipers they might get relisted for cheaper :lolcry: oh welll off to the wreckers with my set of verniers and a tape measure
  23. I bought a central locking kit off ebay a few weeks ago for $50 and i Installed it today. Well I strated at 9:00 this morning and finished at 5:00. it is very easy to install. The kit comes with a fulll wiring harness, 2 controller, 4 motors, lock rods and connectors. Once the wiring is layed out I took out the front seats and undid the back seat so i could put the wiring under the carpet. The only drama i had was that I had to do was extend the rear leads to reach tho the locks. here is a pic or the right rear lock installed Front lock Its great for the amount of money I paid for it and I am very satisfied with it if any one else wants more ino just ask or pm me
  24. Ancullen: I was going to bid on that 2nd set of calipers you bought on ebay but i saw it was you so i held off. What is the bolt spacing on the rx7 calipers? Taz_Rx: good idea I have a mate at repco I wonder if they would have the same thing what brand were those discs? And what part number please.
  25. I was scanning through ebay looking for brake caliipers and I came across these http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...DME:B:TB18:AU:1 They are Honda Prelude 91-96 BB4 Front Calipers and have a 140mm bolt spacing so i went to the shed and measured A ke30 strut and they are 140mm exactly the same so this would suit KE30+55 and others I was wondering if this would be a cheap upgrade with some bigger discs cheaply? Opinions Please
