INteresting one on your front eye bushes Jip, I had to take one out of my ke35 up to the local auto store because there were two sizes listed in the Super Pro catalougue. Personally I have only ever seen ke3x/5x with the larger bushes.

Bought this of on older guy who had retired and was moving away back in October. Meet my one owner datsun!, The old owner was almost in tears as I drove it away, he told me he had had it for the last 25 years and to him it was like cutting a limb off his body. When I got it home I went over it, the drivetrain has been meticulously looked after, not a single weep of oil, the body has been polished within an inch of its life, 4 small spots of rust smaller than a 5c peice. Almost 2 months later I can't see myself without my datsun, its been very reliable so far, maybe used a litre of oil. Sure she can be cranky first thing in the morning when shes cold but who isnt? Plans? I will be painting the wheels silver again, finish off the rust repairs (done two of them) Drive it and enjoy it. Engine bay pic was taken about a month after I got it, still not a drop leaking out :D

WGMG, I went to a junk auction on saturday morning, Had to rush home for something just as bidding started. The ke55 there went for $35 :cool:

I like vs stato's to me it felt like driving a land barge orsimilar, it felt a bit bigger than the commodore it is underneath it, but a lot nicer to cruise in.

What sort of gun are you using gravity feed or suction? What type of paint are you using? So many other questions before others can help with what seemed like a simple thing to ask :)

Just the other day, not as much of a bargain as everyone else here has scored but pretty farken good. Datsun 720 ute, one owner, overrated condition, open the bonnet the engine still looks new, overrated dashpad, no rust, canopy, rhino racks, good tyres, 9mths rego. Seller wanted $1550 I got it for $1400 Already turned down two offers of above $3k, this thing drives like its new, I am not parting with the old girl, just going to keep it polished and use it daily like the old fella I bought it off did.
