  1. It is what we in the auto electrical industry refer to as a QK8 (Quick connector) on the aus. lights, You crimp non-insulated terminals on and then push them in to the connector..
  2. Faulty relays that are holding themselves on or the combo switch is faulty..
  3. This is the lamest f@$king thread ever, If all this is the worst problems you have in your life you need a spoonful of f@$king concrete!
  4. Not mounting a front bumper bar?
  5. Will need my door trims back in over a month!
  6. If you are using a commodore motor then use the ecu and dash to suit, that simple..
  7. Welcome, Hope you enjoy the forum here!
  8. No worries
  9. yeah, easy as, just use the original tacho wire to the coil.. some engines use an oil pressure sender not a switch too, may have to change that as well or from what i have seen the oil light just flickers..
  10. question is are you using a stock single coil motor? otherwise why worry any further? how easy the mod is depends on how handy you are with electronics..
  11. only need a modification to drive the tacho if you run multi-coil..
  12. it will prime it during crank and then keep the pump powered via the circuit opening relay when the car is started.

  14. wait till you have extractors..
  15. Used to run it on my KE70, Never had a drama!
  16. Also the load on the motor could be an issue, have the linkages rusted up and are going to cease up?
  17. much like any non-computerised car..
  18. Depends on the current draw of the circuit and the current rating of the switch..
  19. all you are doing is replacing the ignition switch really.. switch for Accessories, Ignition and momentary switch for Start all powered by battery to feed each individual circuit..
  20. If I get the brown on on the road before you get the blue one done, I will have to slap you :P
  21. lol, I'm always in my own little world when I'm driving to work, The only thing that caught my attention were Jip's number plate.. I did hear this beeping and i'm thinking, who is tooting me, i'm not holding anyone up? Didn't even see the flashing lights.. And yes I do drive like a grandma, hahaha, If I gave it a bootful you would end up covered in oil....
  22. Do you run a surge tank at all? Or have a baffled EFI tank?
  23. Use the standard fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail, Was designed to do the right job from factory..
  24. It actually draws less current with the high impedence injectors, do the math..
  25. Just means that the duty cycle of the injectors is going to be less to provide more fuel. Without an aftermarket computer there is no way you can control the fuel that is going to go in. The fuel pressure reg you have put on will not do anything anyway, the fuel rail has its own pressure regulator.
