  1. Yes, The fork is held to the bearing carrier by 2 clips. Apparently you can still buy them new from Toyota..
  2. This thing is awesome, even if it is an excel!
  3. The rumours I heard was that it was nipple pink, These sources were obviously lying..
  4. Bought another piece of the puzzle that I had been chasing for quite some time, Which has now inspired me to get my finger out and rebuild the T50 gearbox I have.. Oh! and I got the dizzy back together with the freshly electroplated bits..
  5. There is also a variable resistor down there that adjusts the brightness of the dash lights..
  6. I would guess bottom right of the dash..
  7. GAUGE fuse - 7.5A
  8. Dimitri did my coilovers and I have had no dramas at all with them.
  9. I think there is a fix with diodes with multi-coil setups that you can do.. *edited*
  10. Nice! I shall have to come and inspect it closer
  11. Tacho signal comes off the negative side of the coil. http://www.rollaclub.com/faq/index.php?tit...Tacho_Into_KE70 And yes, Trip meter and Odometer gears may be cactus inside, just swap the speedo unit out of an ke70 / ae71 cluster to fix it..
  12. No fuel return from my carbs, Pressure is controlled by the mechanical fuel pump..
  13. Was out at Powercruise in the mechanic from works Hilux at various times.. Injected VN Commodore V8, Belt driven supercharger, 400HP @ Rears.. Was good fun!
  14. Can buy them from ashdown ingrams..
  15. I had an old box do that once on the highway, was in a bad mood and slammed it in third and it stuck, had to put both feet flat on the floor and yank at the gearstick till it popped in to neutral.. and the box was pretty well f@$ked after that, kept popping out of gear on the highway..
  16. My Denso copy reduction starter peaks at about 120A on crank when I checked it at TAFE, So it would be higher than that for a Bosch unit. Depends how much load it cops to spin the motor etc... And yes, Bigger cables are good, Big voltage drop and lots of cranking is a good way to kill a starter motor.. Don't know how Toyota got away with the size they used on my KE70 from factory..
  17. thermo switch
  18. Could more than likely create your own, Can't imagine a KE11 wiring harness being that complex..
  19. About time there were some progress shots ;)
  20. yeah, could use the generic bosh ignitor, but i'd stick with denso as they are better than the bosch shit..
  21. possibly, ae86dc has an article somewhere on coil-over ignition that can be used on 4age motors..
  22. What colour was it?
  23. More than likely you have a faulty combo switch..
  24. I'm as good as there already
  25. Only way to know for sure is to have a look and find out if the bits will interchange, I ended up needing a spacer on the pivot mount when I was done because the alternator stator is wider than the factory 45A bit of gear.
