A lot easier to source a 5K one.. Plus I'm pretty sure the proper 4K-E dizzy I have here is smaller than my 5K one thats currently on my car..

Need to cover up the intercooler piping on the sides so the intercooler looks like a shiny grill. Other than that it is one hot car!

I see where you are getting confused now, also note that K40/K50 gearboxes are not that strong and wouldn't hold up long behind an A series motor.. (Why when people go for more power in a K motor they get a K-T bellhousing and use a T50 gearbox).

It has nothing to do with hacking and more to do with a denial of service attack, Feel free to google DDOS attacks..

Best option for budget is really a 5K

Pretty sure you should be able to use the T18 engine crossmember and the 2T engine should bolt in no great dramas..

If its a 4 speed behind a 3K/4K/5K best bet is the gearbox is a K40 If its a 5 Speed behind a 3K/4K/5K best bet it is a K50 It is possible to get K-T bellhousings to adapt a T40/T50 gearbox to a 3K/4K/5K You can't adapt a K40/K50 to an A series motor. Find a T50 out of a AE71 or AE86 for your conversion and you will be right. Been busy tonight starting to revamp the Starter Motor section of the WIKI/FAQ http://www.rollaclub.com/faq/index.php?title=Starter_Motor Since there has been some discussion on the reduction type starter motors (Plus I was asked the difference between reduction type and conventional type starters), I have decided to put a load of information up on Conventional, Reduction and Planetary starter motors. Please bare with me whilst I finish updating it, So far I have only written up the starting system, starter motors and conventional type starter motors.

Oh, Just had another thought, Possible snapped timing belt? Take the oil cap off and see if the cam spins when you crank it over..

3 main things to check for on any EFI motor that is not running.. 1. Spark - Test by using a spark checker or by removing spark lead and sitting it near the bod and it should arc to the frame. 2. Noid - See if the injectors are getting power buy using a noid light across one of the injector clips or listen to hear the solenoid inside them is clicking. 3. Fuel - Check you have pressure at the rail by disconnecting it and aiming it into a container (Or alternatively spray some carby cleaner up the intake and see if it starts to kick to life but dies out when you stop spraying). Make sure the earths on your car are all connected firmly too..

You should be able to get replacements of both normal and reduction type starters, I don't see why you would go any less than the reduction starter..

These are good little starters, Love working on them because they are so easy to fix (Most of the time just worn contacts or plunger) Brushes last a lot longer than the contacts..
