I've had the same problem when I swapped boxes before. There is like 1 10mm bolt that you undo and you pull the speedo drive out and put the new on in, Its seriously not that hard..
As posted previously, K50 gearboxes and T50 gearboxes are completely different. K50s use a cable clutch, T50s Use a hydraulic clutch (Cable clutch T50 bellhousings are rare). There is no way you will get a T50 behind a K motor without a K - T bellhousing.
From Wikipedia..

Twincarb manifold $112 posted (Brand new) from a guy down in Victoria.
Can really feel the motor hold its power better at higher revs now with the electronic dizzy installed.
Just booked the KE70 in to have the exhaust finished off next Monday. Need to get the exhaust flanged at the base of the extractors and I'm pretty sure I will go a 2" system..
You are not using the rope for the titanic, Just stuff about the thickness of standard 12v automotive wire. It has to be strong enough for you to pull on it without it wanting to break. Pretty sure you have to do about 2 laps of the rubber in 2 different grooves it has. You then put the windscreen down on the back and pull the rope from the inside to lip the rubber over the edge and follow it around the window till you pull the rubber in. Then go around and windscreen with a sealer gun and seal it. Then you have to press the rubber down around the whole thing..
Yeah It's pretty easy if you have done it before, you have to wrap rope around the rubber and pull it so it lips over the edgeing when you go around the window. You need someone on the outside to help keep pressure on it..
The AE82 had a split in the hose from the remote thermostat (from being overtightened). When the system pressurised it quite obviously emptied out the entire contents of the radiator. Didn't help the fact that the temperature sender was broken and the wire was off (He had no idea it was overheating because he thought it was running cold going by the guage). Luckily he was a member of RACQ and I waited with him till the tow truck arrived to tow it home..
To keep the fan base happy I'll post an update.
Yesterday I managed to clean up and finish blacking out the underside of the car. While I was doing that Matt cleaned up the tailshaft ready for a coat of paint. We then had a bitch of a time getting the swaybar bushes in ARGHBBQ!! (After waiting months for Repco to supply the wrong bushes we got them at the local auto parts store in a matter of days). But got the swaybar back in. Matt also put the handbrake back in but it needs some adjusting before it is right yet.. Matt also reassembled his pedal box after the pedal box and pedals had been painted.. Also put the tailshaft back in and then started to try get the pedal box back in. Got stuck at the point where we have to make the holes in the firewall for the clutch master..
