Well over the weekend it was hard to paint things as it was pissing down rain something shocking. Anyway lucky the sun came out today and we got all the parts we needed to paint ready to get the axles back in. The Panhard rod is now back in, Both axles are back in and the pedal box and pedals have had a coat of paint.

Today I managed to get the brake lines cleaned up and back onto the diff, Also got under the car and finished wire wheeling the area where the diff goes. After it was cleaned I blacked it all out ready for the diff to go back in. Matt also picked up the bushes for the lower/upper trailing arms and the panhard rod. The old bushes were damn hard to get out of the trailing arms, Matt ended up drilling them out. Once the new bushes were in the lower and upper trailing arms, Matt and I got the diff housing back in. Came across a bit of a problem getting the new bushes in one side of the panhard rod though (Metal bush that needs to be pressed out). So hopefully next weekend we may have both axels back in..

Help - Running Ae86 Suspension On A Ke70
Medicine_Man replied to tetsujin's topic in KExx Corolla Discussion
Yes you can keep the existing steering rack and KE70/AE71/AE86 suspension is interchangable. -
I don't know, I think the price of 4AGEs are starting to drop, I picked up a whole 100KW short block for $100 last friday (Spun bearings). They aren't exactly that hard to wire up and configure for RWD..
