Sounding like you are going fast and actually going fast in a Corolla are 2 completely different things ROFL, I bet Irokin can share a few stories of that nature..

Nicks old Datsun Sunny had that problem once, had a bit of an imperfection on the top of the block that once smoothed back with sandpaper has not given the problem again..

Matt put 2 photos of 4A-C engines in there, I don't know why when you only asked for a 4K-C engine photo.. 4A-C air cleaner is on the drivers side of the car, 4K-C air cleaner is on the passenger side of the car.

On stabalised, Obviously this game is biased towards steering wheel controls.. Why can't they make it realistic for keyboards too.. apart from that it would seem to be a good game..
-
I just had a play of LFS, Why is the steering so f@$ked up, Surely they would make the steering easier on the keyboard, I'm either sidways left or sideways right when driving. Then I just spin in circles, argh*$)&@%)(@!&!~!!

Nice to see some progress happening, I'm at the same stage with my sprinter at the moment, wires everywhere..

Full clutch swap and gearbox swap can be done in 15 minutes if you are in a hurry and have a few people to help out. (Provided you know what you are doing). I'd give yourself a few hours and just take your time :lmao: * Disconnect the battery. * Rip the shifter out * Put the car on stands * Disconnect the speedo cable from the gearbox * Undo tailshaft bolts * Disconnect the clutch cable (remove circlip from firewall adjustment point and then disconnect it from under the dash, feed it back through the firewall into the engine bay then disconnect it from the clutch fork) * Disconnect the starter motor and push it foward, Don't worry about disconnecting the wires. * Undo the bolts around the gearbox bellhousing * Remove any earth cables and double check you haven't missed anything * Undo the gearbox crossmember bolts and slide the box back and it should come out rather easy. :)

It will be the speedo drive in the gearbox, If you have recently swapped gearboxes, rip the speedo drive out of the old box and swap it. I had the same thing happen to me last time i swapped gearboxes..
-
Seeing that makes me want to get the dremel out and polish mine up..

Yes, I agree with your observations.. -
While Matt was away doing other stuff saturday, I was busy whacking his gearbox back together. Got it all together and put it back in. After that, I started getting the front swaybar setup back in..

Dad convinced me to buy a KE70 as my first car and I've never looked back...
