  4. FAQ'd for future reference.. http://www.rollaclub.com/faq/index.php?tit...Tacho_Into_KE70
  5. Ok, Just look at the picture, Its the one on the left of the third connector (going left to right) Marked with the red arrows.
  6. Actually at closer inspection of Teddy's wiring harness it appears grey, Pictures coming soon..
  7. Welcome to rollaclub, Firstly Where abouts are you from? I'd suggest you update your location in you profile.. The tacho signal is taken off the negative side of the coil (black wire), As far as I am aware all KE70s have the wiring behind the dash for the tacho from factory (As you can just swap in a factory KE70 CSX tacho dash cluster and it will work). It is just a matter of wiring it to the correct wire or running another wire if you are not comfortable with being able to locate the correct wire. Did you get a wiring diagram with your tacho at all? I'll attatch an image I got with my old aftermarket tacho in case it may help you understand the wiring layout..
  8. Finally the Dellortos fitted - $345 all up. Machine up of the manifold to fit, Hoses, Linkage kit, Accelerator cable, Manifold gasket and a rough balance and tune. He said to drive it for a while because the carbs have been sitting for so long. After some decent drives everything should begin to settle in/free up. He also said the fuel wasn't burning the best and that the plugs may be shot from the other carby. Drove it home from work and to me it seems fine.
  9. That is because they were never a really a car that needed a bodykit. The only kits I've ever seen have been custom jobs or modified from AE86 kits. To cut the long story short, If you want a kit you will have to find someone that is handy with fibreglass..
  10. Do these guys pop a few E's before they design modern cars or what? Why don't they go back to old school styling..
  11. Photos of Fuel lines being painted and random car shots..
  12. Tomorrow :n: Also special thanks to CorollaAndy, Top bloke if you need parts, Scored a towbar off him last week for $45!

  14. Ask Teddy about my cursing and swearing at my 4AGE, And it is the "Bolt in" conversion..
  15. Looks clean as, Post up some more pictures or I'll be forced to ban you :2thumbs: :n:
  16. Just fix the broken band underneath the seat, I did it with mine and its perfect still..
  17. The problem with points dizzys is the points burn out after time, Buy a new set of points and put them in and see if it fixes the problem.. Thats why I got an electronic dizzy, Sick of replacing points all the time..
  18. Just find a K series electronic dizzy and don't waste time mucking around with anything else.. Burnt points? Sticking perhaps when they get real hot?
  19. Thats looking hot as, Going to look even better in the car :2thumbs:

  21. Amen to that.. Another memorable experience was being pulled up by 3 cop cars down the Brisbane airport when I first got my KE70 on the road. The copper attending to me asked me to open the boot (Obviously expecting burnout smoke I assume?) And saw nothing inside by my gigantic toolbox ("Is there tools in there?) <-- He got the most stupid question of the year award. Then one copper proceeded to say how my car wasn't capable of doing a burnout..
  22. Yeah, The guys at Kallangur would be the fo-shizzle..
  23. Yeah, Grab the AE86 tailshaft, May have to use part of the other tailshaft too, So don't throw that out yet.
  24. That didn't come up to bad, Any luck with getting the rest of your bits yet?
  25. As far as I am aware KE70 is completely different to AE86 otherwise everyone would be using them..
