Thats due to the exchange rate falling champ. Both of my complete sets were $500 landed perset before the exchange rate dived and they were purchased from Japan at the time.

Not this weekend but possibly the next Sunday, late in the afternoon.

It wasnt over-exposure but sunlight reflection that ruined the pics a little. If you all want to do it again, I'm happy to do it again but later in the afternoon when the sun isnt up high above us all.

Just realised I was asked a question. First and foremost, make sure your car is serviced and ready to go. This means that the cooling system has been pressure tested for leaks and fresh oil as well. Then: Tent Clothing Tools (I'll have my trusty toolbox with me if anyone gets into trouble) Inflatable Air Mattresses (I have a couple of Lilo's) Air Compressor or Foot Pump (To Inflate Said Mattresses) Bedding I'll be organising a meet for those who are coming to discuss the trip route, time of departure, half hour or so stop points etc. Since I've done this twice before, its not a difficult trip, but your transport has to be in tip-top mechanical order otherwise you'll run into trouble. Personally, I'll be bringing a spare head gasket just in case, well, thats providing I take my KE25 over for it. Cheers Mick

Its when you drive along, turn the car off in gear, pump the accelerator, and then turn it back on again, while coasting along in gear. Good way to destroy your exhaust system. :jamie:

I'm taking out a loan next year to give this thing a huge kick in the pants to get it moving along, but doubt you'll see any smoke. Burnouts are for bogans :bash:

As I'm doing a theme (with the wall that I'm using) you can submit them to Jon, but again, it wont fit the theme or background I'm using for the shoot today. While I'm on the topic ofthe shoot, if anyone thats coming along today has a decent condition standard 3K head, bring it with you as I want to buy it. Wont be paying any more than 25 bucks though.

Try some Loctite Freeze & Release on it if the oil fails :)

I've possibly been offered one of these motors for a decent price thats currently in a corolla up in the hills somewhere. Not sure what they're like for parts though :)

Not really champ. There is shadow covering the car and parts of other cars in the background. You can submit it if you want though, but I'm pretty certain that it wouldnt make it for the main month photo.

The exhaust is rooted anyway. :( Gonna put the one off my yellow 25 on it for a decent note :D

With the proper equipment, its easy to take decent photo's. Because I had a heap of time for just the one car, I spent nearly two hours taking 116 photos with a Digital SL/R. Unfortunately I wont be able to do that with several cars there, so I'm looking at 15-20 mins max per vehicle. :jamie:
