  1. 1983 AE71 sport coupe, 4AGE smallport, J160 6 speed, Richmond Racing (Dwarf car) 3.9 final drive, fitted into an AE86 disc brake rear diff 1606cc 4AGE N/A, smallport head and block, 3 rib rods and crank, with Euro OEM Toyota 10 to 1 pistons, w/ aftermarket gudgeon (wrist pins) Web Camshaft - grind 577 (equivalent to a 264 type cam) TRD valve springs 140-145 whp depending on the dyno. 140-145 whp calculates to about 160-170 crank hp dyno run back in 2012 -

Can't speak to other E7 models... but when it comes to AE71 (1983) there are 2 OEM radiator options... depending on if the car was manual equipped (single row radiator), or automatic equipped (dual row radiator). The problem occurs when you try to swap them... because there are different radiator supports depending on if you have auto, or stick.... The auto radiator bolts to the rad support, while the manual radiator has 2 top arms that hold it in In my 170hp 4AGE I'm using the metal dual row radiator from a 1983 automatic equipped AE71. I've fashioned/adapted a Sienna cooling fan to fit the auto rad...

Dan 1983 Toyota Corolla Sport Coupe 170hp emissions compliant 4AGE, LEEN converted J160 6 speed (instead of the T50), AE86 GT-S disc brake rear axle equipped with a Richmond Racing 3.90 final drive. Suspension is custom: AE86 front struts, custom made adjustable lower control arms, Tanabe front sway bar, custom wound springs (5.3kg/mm front and 3.5kg/mm rear) HTS full stroke shocks, TRD high density rubber bushings on most of the suspension. Trakyoto Drag 902 15 x 6.5 +22 currently shod with 195/50/15 General Exclaim UHP The interior is being finished currently, it is a blue delux interior, with blue CCR seats(Cop Car Recaros - from mid 90s Lumina Police car), the dash overlays have been re-done in Bazilion Cherrywood... to go along with the custom shift knob.
  5. 4 years is a loooong time.... she is now powered by 170hp emissions compliant 4AGE with a LEEN converted J160 6 speed in place of the old T50. She is also now equipped with a full GT-S rear axle(disc brakes) equipped with 3.91 gears
  6. Well... quite a bit away...(over 2000 miles) I live in the Pacific north west of the USA... Oregon... I've been an AE86 guy for about 15 years now.... BUUUUUUUUUUUUT... I've recently acquired an AE72 coupe... Currently she is unpowered... but being an AE72 she had a 4AC.... Soon to have a 4AGE....!!!!
  7. Has anyone seen a factory wiring diagram for an AE72 currently available online? I have an AE72 coupe... swapping in a 4AGE with complete aftermarket management. It would ba FARRRRRR easier to use a manual then to GUESS!!! Does anyone know if it might still be orderable(like the AE86 manuals are)?????? Any help you have............ will be very appreciated!
