Coil?? I had an intermittent issue with my 3K, new coil and it was gone. That's assuming you have checked almost everything else. How are your points etc??

My 20 had a removable radiator support but I got half way through lifting it out and CBF removing so up and over it went. Seriously K motors are a piece of piss to remove - hardly threadworthy :blinks:

Get an engine crane and take the whole lot out together.... Way less rooting around to remove gearbox bolts etc. Undo engine mounts, undo gearbox crossmember bolts, disconnect some shit and voila engine out. You need someone to help you jiggle a bit to get the right angles (well at least I did). You can do it on your own but a helper is always handy.

I don't understand how you can have more than 1 kid. I understand only children tend to be spoilt shits and it would be nice for one kid to have brothers/sister etc to play with.... My 15 month old daughter has probably slept 3 weeks of full nights sleep since she was born. Even then they weren't consecutive. It gets old real quick not sleeping through for the night!!! Yesterday I'm driving down the freeway, I smell something which reminds me of baby shit... oh yeah she has done an explosive poo and its come out her nappy, so she's playing with it, rubbing it into the car seat etc. Then starts flinging it onto the adjacent seats in the car. You can't stop on the freeway so I was powerless I just had to keep driving and try and laugh about it. I get to the bottom of the freeway and stop at the in-laws and clean the whole car out. I think to myself today I will remove the car seat, wash the cover and shampoo the seats of the car. I'm driving her again this morning, same smell and same outcome. Shit all through the car again!!! She is now asleep and I now have the whole car to clean out from top to bottom again. If she does it a third time she is definitely NOT getting a sibling.

Not to mention the fact that they absolutely pump the shit out of their interest free deals!! People getting too much credit is what partially led to the GFC Mr Harvey!! I bought my Mrs a VZ Sedan when we had a kid. It does the kid thing fine fits the car seat and the pram etc now worries at all. It is boring as bat shit and my Mrs constantly threatens to set it on fire - so yeah don't get one :lolcry:

To remove axles I did the following: Remove drum cover, turn around to put back on backwards, put wheel nuts on a few threads to hold drum cover on. Tap drum cover with hammer at different points and eventually the axle came out. You can use the drum cover to pull back against the nuts to force the axle out but if they been in there a while you will have not much luck. I tried that method for about 30 seconds and then just reached for the hammer :cool: Hammer was much quicker. Mick beat me to it

I went to a radiator place in Adelaide and got mine recored for $220. They take top and bottom tank off, fit new core and repaint radiator. Looks the goods and works well. Any radiator place should be able to do it really :blush:

I've offered him more again than what someone else did.... I have no intention of buying it now but hopefully I can make him hold onto it for me so I can tell him I changed my mind :dance: :blush:

It's never a bad idea to try and get people together, meet, share a common interest etc. I guess people just get tired of organising cruises well in advance only to have a small number turn up. Maybe persistence is the key - keep at it and eventually people will see pictures of good events and they will also join in. As for the GOR event, it is a great event that I hope to one day make it to. I think it is a bit much to ask of some of these old rollas to sustain driving probably 3000 k's over the space of a weekend! I know you did it in your 25 Mick but some people aren't that keen (or crazy!!!!) Maybe we should organise a camping trip in our own backyard.... that might give some people the courage or inspiration to make the big trek to the GOR event. We have plenty of Rollas in SA so there is no excuse really for not all hanging out together :cool:

Douchebag sellers..... I contacted this guy about a car he was selling not even 20 minutes after it was listed, the site only lists an email so I email him. Yeah no worries mate I'll call you tomorrow morning and arrange a time. No call all day. He still won't provide his no. so I can call him to arrange. He then emails me yeah mate no worries come next day to look at car. Still no phone no. but provides address. He then emails me just now saying sorry got a better offer than what price I advertised for so car is sold. Thanks douchebag - how about allowing me the chance to see the vehicle since I have wasted so much time waiting for contact and changed around my whole day so I can see the car. fck fck fck fck fcmk :bash: I suspect he spent the day collecting emails before waiting to pounce on an offer. I run 98 in my fresh 3K, runs like a dream. Might just be my imagination but I swear it goes further (better economy) than when I used 95. :blush:
