  1. They have the MR2 bi-annual nationals in Brizzy that weekend and supposedly they get "center stage" at this. Dunno whether to park with Rollas or MR2's.
  2. Didnt realise this was next Sunday. Lucky the Rolla is sold and I'll have my garage back to tidy the AW up.
  3. Looks like the KE is sold, so.....
  4. Looks to be sold. Sweet.
  5. Ah hahahhahahha 12k for a stock auto ke30 two door? How much crack do you need to smoke?
  6. I reckon it needs a tank in the same kind of shape but with some sharp edges to match the rear. Or maybe some gloss pinstripes?
  7. Hurry up and finish it so I can organise another hills run.
  8. NICE! We only got the lift back in Aussie not the coupe. Always wanted one like this.
  9. $3750 if anyone wants it.
  10. Gonna be one long day sorting it. I want to do all the bushes too and I think I might find some gremlins.
  11. Dizzy rebuild kit. Now have everything to make it RWC apart from a few copper washers for the oil return line.
  12. I found e10 95 went a bit better. But depends on the engine. A K motor would probably run on vodka.
  13. See if there is oil inside the dizzy, might be worth doing the inner seal. AJPS does an entire kit for $39 delivered. Cap seal, main O ring, inner seal and bearing.
  14. This should tighten up the shifter along with the new shifter housing bushes.
  15. Yeah I bought like a $10 2 arm puller off eBay. I cracked the rim off one pulley using screwdrivers and snapped off the bit with the timing mark. That was great. It'd be way easier out of the car though.
  16. I'm happy with the 4age. It's an engine I know and can fix and it's fun. I don't want anything exotic or fast. I want a nice 4age Mr2 that handles well, sounds good, stops good and can get me to work reliably.
  17. Do the front main. If it leaks it's a bastard while in the car. The timing pulley isn't too hard to get off and the seal isn't expensive. I've got the timing pulley off with a large flat head screw driver. I actually bought a 2 arm puller to modify for the job but haven't had to use it yet.
  18. Yeah a lot of people are doing the V6, I dunno why you'd wanna put more weight in the rear though. I'll most likely stick with the 16v and look at ITB's and a gearbox upgrade. My mission right now is making sure the suspension and brakes are all good then I will decide on the direction of the engine. The cams though <3. Loving them so much.
  19. What sizes bro, wouldn't mind a new one as my old one is pretty worn from use.
  20. Yup. EDIT: Ensure you get an AE71/AE86 T50 box, other series like Celicea or T18 will ruin your day.
  21. Genuine handbrake cables, beefed up to phuch rear tie rod arms with MOOG tie rods and gear linkage bushes. Got an AJPS dizzy rebuid kit coming and I should be set to get this RWC and in my name. Will probably do the entire bush kit I have too before I do a wheel alignment. Thinking 1mm toe on the rear, 5.5 castor and 1.5 camber front. Wish I had camber control on the rear.
  22. Build the ke70 now, get it super reliable then buy a 2nd hand Mustang when it's done. You'll outlay the same amount except you'll have a reliable car for when the mustang breaks down.
  23. https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/proxy/BcFQrsYKooWBAMhxJCblIBYjEio8BL9ELEdxumSZ_LwXkOzOrEUT5bFMMv0Zx60CukV_8UxpdsxP8rKiUnSL1GhaOPQniIEUAV3xhsGrfJFD7CTLRqdH0IvjHTLVU-DrOvdesbJSGJEh6ZnwlGbm=w471-h312-nc
  24. Everything sounds great. The car feels a lot smoother through the rev range. Definitely has more pick me up in the later revs. Less rattly. Shims aren't really hard just frustrating if you get the maths wrong.
