  1. Haha. Sounds amazing. Do a skid. Must feel so good. I know it did when I did the gze swap.
  2. Nice socks.
  3. If you're looking for something you can service I think BC answered all your questions. The fact they tried to help would get my vote.
  4. VIDEOS OR BAN
  5. I used an AJPS kit too, no issues so far.
  6. You can see on these ones the entire body of the strut is threaded. The lower stub axle portion can be adjusted independently of the rest.
  7. I did a pretty good XT setup with HSD weld ons for about 1500. Only issue is the lack of base height adjustability. Have you considered a pre made coilover set that you weld the stub axle on to? Powered By Max, BC etc? If I did it again that'd be the better option, run a XT stub axle which gives you a lot of brake upgrades on the cheap. Even the twin pot sumitomo calipers I used were fantastic for street driving. but it opens up shit like hilux or even land cruiser brakes. Personally I think base height adjustable is a better option. No need for helper/keeper springs. Set your car to the desired height with that adjustment and have the coilover winding option for track days. I even had old HSD rear coilovers in the rear (minus springs and shit) and used them as base height adjustable shocks. They had 8 degrees of damper too.
  8. So have you run a diagnostic? Try unplugging the tps and the map sensor and see if there is a change. (One at a time). My friend had a similar issue, all the hoses to the map sensor were fine but the metal lines were clogged.
  9. Hydrodip it.
  10. I have a facet pump I'm not gonna use. No idea if it'll be any quieter. But if you don't sort it out you're free to try it.
  11. Ah yeah, every other car at the stand was rotary, only reason I guessed that.
  12. No idea sorry. I'd assume a rotary though.
  13. Went to Downshift. Was pretty shit, lots of cars but there were 20 stock cars for every decently modified one. Get a few pics of my stocker ;) This rotang KE20 And this baller KE30 This BMW was by far my highlight though. Made my nether regions twitch.
  14. I want a passenger ride once this is up and running.
  15. This will be cool.
  16. Did the passenger side front, gave them a ice bath in the freezer for an hour. Cleaned the holes out with WD40 and oiled them up a tad and they went in piss easy with a freshly charged rattle gun battery. The rears are another story, the bolts are too long to slip in. I can remove the dust cover, rotate it and get to the at this lower point though. But the dust cover is held on by bloody torx head bolts and I don't have torx tools. First time Ive come across them on a Toyota. So Ill put them off for now. Oh and my lock nuts are now open ended ;) I'm gonna buy another 3 sets of Speco ones.
  17. Why not just use a 5 pin always open relay?
  18. I greased them up.
  19. Yeah diagnostic codes would be good.
  20. 1.5, plus the SSR's need a special sized shank. Took me ages just to find the nuts I have. Cheers for the offer though, :)
  21. Got my spacers. So I got to work putting the wheel studs in. Studs are shit and the knurl is shit so I am having to file them down slightly so they will press in. Got sick of doing it with a file so I got a mini bench grinder from Aldi. Managed to pull 4 studs through then went to fit the wheel and my nuts bottomed out. ʞ©$ɟ. So I either need to nip a bit off the studs or cut the tops off the nuts so they are open.
  22. Meeting at the end of Coral St by the tennis courts at 1pm. No cruise just a pre-meet.
  23. I like. Wheel spacers are here too. Just need hubcentric rings . Forgot to order some so might have to get some cheap plastic ones from Bob Jane for now.
