Determine 100% where the leak is from first.

The speed sensor code won't make your car run bad or put it into limp mode. It'll just throw a code.

When my crank pulley fell off I managed to strip the front of my engine down (covers/alternator etc), replace the timing pulley cog, keyway, put a new harmonic balancer on and put it all back together in 57 minutes, all on the side of the road. So much better in RWD.

Stretched cable probably. You can adjust it past the last ring at the firewall, just use a hose clamp.

This might appeal to your budget build mentality. I'm using one in mine as a thermo fan controller. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=110817013430&alt=web

Possibly someone has rebuilt it and put the gear on the end on out by 180 degrees. Easy to do.

When you slipped the dizzy in it didn't rotate off a tooth?

I have had a 4AGE plus a 4AGZE in my car, the 4AGE ran both a KE70 clock dash and an AE71 tacho dash and the temp gauge worked fine. The AE71 tacho dash has also worked fine with the 4AGZE, backed up by a digital thermo on my thermo fan controller. EDIT: My digital gauge is on the outlet of the radiator and when its around 85-90 degrees the cluster gauge needle is up to the first line, which I am guessing is the operating temp of 84 degrees?

Replaced the gearbox mount to see if it would fix my 'wobble' issue. Worst fitting piece of crap ever, took me over an hour for a 10 minute job. Didnt fix shit, pretty sure its the clutch, might try some 4th gear standstill clutch frying to see if it even out the faces.

Whenever is see a seemingly easy sunroof install I want to do one, then I see a bad one and get scared.

Dye the seat? That thing looks cool as brown.

Dropped it in, woop. Noisy as ʞ©$ɟ, clutch is grippy as ʞ©$ɟ, short shifter is balls deep in ʞ©$ɟ, clutch pedal feels like ʞ©$ɟ. All in all its brilliant. Reverse gear in like a whacky shack, no idea whats going on there. But it builds character. Bolt hole de-loctiter Ghetto box lifter hole chop mounted Daddy I like your steps Self tappers FTW Fits quite snug Good position. Its gonna take a bit to get used to.

Saw a ke50 and a ke55 lift back right next to each other on Saturday and apart from some trim pieces they are identical.
-
Finally pulled all the bits out and test fitted it all together. Ogliptech bell, W55, CUBE short shifter, ceramic clutch Will get a new throwout bearing pressed on tomorrow then whack it all in on Saturday after a good degrease. The T50 and al the components with it being sold will fund getting the KAAZ 2 way installed in the zenki center.

Stock ke70/ae71 cable will work.

Just Bought A 1982 Toyota Corolla

Doubt you'd get change from 10k for one of those here. I only know of one other 2 door sedan in Aussie. -
Went and helped a fellow E7 owner fix his charging and starting issue then swung past the Downshift meet. The Diff isn't sounding great, I'm surprised the S series has lasted so well. I really need to pull finger and sort out the box and Diff.

That Celica looks mad for the price!

This is a good example of a KE3/5 coupe, even then I think this is a bit expensive. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Toyota-Corolla-1974-2D-Hardtop-4-SP-Manual-1-2L-Carb-/131399286231?roken=oR2JrE
